The homemade era is alive & very well here at this convenient sandwich spot. The location is Wabasso boat ramp convenient to the west for those going river boating. The parking is slim & the sandwich motif is homemade. They use Roma brand olives & Thumann's meats. Great names and great quality to marry with the Cusano's bakery breads The pricing is beachside pricing for each sandwich. The market bears the $14.00 price tag due to the many repeat eaters. The self made pickles are found with every order. The deli was clean to the touch & the staff were observed using sanitary gloves & sanitary procedures while making our order. Do not complain about the pricing just go somewhere else for a lesser quality sandwich. The whole wheat sub roll was tasty & was chew friendly. The packaging and presentation was as pleasing as it was flavorful. Overall this menu is expensive compared to the franchise bread only sandwiches but it is the patron nuance that will make me a repeat customer. Something to be said in a good way for this place serving up the best they can in every order. The internet pricing is old and the $9.00 sub is no more due to rising inflation & food costs. Yesterday Monica and I went to Twisted Pickle Deli and we loved the food. We have been looking for a good deli to get a great sandwich and this is one for sure! On walking inside I noted the great aroma of foods being prepared that smelled like heaven! I did note it is small inside and wished there was a good seating area. I ordered the Reuben sandwich for Monica and Ben's New Yorker Sub (Pastrami with Swiss and coleslaw) for me. I also got a salad for dinner for us to split - the "Three Twisted Sisters". I also got a tub of garlic and onion pickles (home made there) and a tub of tater salad (home made there).

The sandwiches looked and tasted great!! (I was surprised with the name of a pickle - we didn't get a slice of pickle with our sandwiches. - I'll ask next time to get one - glad I bought a tub of em.)

The salad looked and tasted great!! It had nice fresh veggies and great dressing and the Chicken, Tuna and Egg salad were all delicious.

I wish they had picnic tables outside so the sandwiches could be eaten right when they come up (with out having to eat in a car).

The staff was friendly and helpful.

I can't wait to return for some more of those great sandwiches.

Phenomenal food and service! This was our first time visiting and will certainly not be our last. Not only was the staff so friendly just from helping us pick out what to order, but they were also willing to make a side of potato salad without onion (they were in the midst of making a new batch) at my husband's request. The food itself was excellent. That Mama Mia's chicken sandwich was exceptional.. all the different textures and flavors (from the meat to the arugula, mozzarella, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, and balsamic glaze).. this sandwich had it all. Even though all the sides were delicious, the pasta salad really stood out to me. Very fresh and all the flavors mingled effortlessly.

We ordered: The Twisted Cuban, Cookie's Mama Mia, and Homemade Pulled Chicken Salad (all on white) with sides: Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, Cole Slaw, and Spicy Dill Pickles.
