Two Tomatoes — Restaurant in Florida

Please give me my pizza back!! When Jerry owned Two Tomatoes we ordered twice a week. We always got the margarita pizzas. Instead of having sauce, they came with a garlic oil base, mozzarella cheese (not the fresh mozzarella) and was saturated with chopped tomatoes so every bite was bursting with flavor. I would always have them add fresh garlic. I started noticing something was different about a year ago. No matter how many times I would request fresh garlic I never got it and there were barely any tomatoes. About 4 weeks ago I called because I was craving my pizza but the pictures online even looked different. I asked for the owner and the girl who answered the phone asked me to hold and then came back and said he wasn’t there. It’s a small place so not sure how she didn’t know. I tried to ask her some questions without any luck and finally told her thanks and hung up. About a week ago we decided to just go ahead and order for delivery. I happened by Two Tomatoes using Google Maps because I was in between appointments in a parking lot not knowing what to do for some time to spare. I was hungry, so I looked up what were the closest restaurants. I saw two Tomatoes prepared Stromboli, which is one of my favorites, but often done poorly. I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet, robust and savory tomato sauce served on the side, and then overwhelmed by the fresh product filling the inside. The carmel brown of the perfect crust was packed with delicious smooth mozzarella cheese, pump mushrooms, and a slab of pepperoni. I have yet to sample their other selections; but if they put this much care into a stromboli, and serve it to my standards, I'm sure the rest of their expansive menu is just as delicious. First time here, ordered the Italian Special Sub. WOW!

It was excellent, and their bread... I've never had a sub roll this tasty!

All the ingredients were delicious. I usually pick out the tomatoes from a sandwich if they're not up to my standards. These tomatoes were amazing, full flavor and super fresh.

I don't know if they make their own bread here or not, but it tasted like it was fresh baked, just perfect.

I'll definitely return, glad I discovered this place. Staff here was super friendly, I arrived just before they got really busy, really fast.

I watched the food orders come out of the kitchen very quickly, they know how to take care of the customers right away .

A friend ordered the Calzone and got it within just a few minutes.

Next time I'll try the pizza, they looked amazing in also.
