Waffle House — Restaurant in Florida

1/27/19 Update:

Called Waffle House to place pickup order, employees did not answer the phone. Drove to the restaurant to place an order and was not greeted by the two servers. The servers appeared to be in grumpy moods and made my guest and I feel as though we were a nuisance. The servers failed to smile and provide a cordial demeanor. The server wrote down our food request but failed to repeat it back to ensure accuracy. Due to this oversight, the order was not correct. Upon being told the amount of the bill, I requested an itemized receipt. The server looked at me as though I had an extra eye somewhere on my face. My guest and I felt we were overcharged but have no way of knowing as the server stated Waffle House does not have the ability to to provide customers itemized receipts. Overall a terrible customer service experience. On a positive note, kudos to the cook for making a tasty meal.

Food is good when you've been drinking, so-so when you're sober. The staff is decently friendly. One server who put my to-go order together made sure I had plenty of syrup, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and napkins. I'll definitely go back. If you're looking for high quality food, you might want to go to an alternative establishment. Went in on my way home from work. Waited all most 15 minutes before the dishwasher yelled someone going to take care of the counter. ordered my food got a coffee drink it while waiting for food, Food came asked for a refill of coffee, My cup sat there, I stopped eating waiting for refill to wash food down # staff members stood there and looked at me, I gesture would like a refill and no one offered. I sat there another 10-15 minutes just waiting for just one of them to ask if I needed anything nothing. Finally my waiter comes over and drops my check in front of me and again I asked for a refill. 5 minutes later I get up leaving over half my meal sitting there because it got cold waiting for something to wash my food down with. Now I stand there for 5 minutes waiting to pay for my uneating meal and I comptitplated of just walking out without paying but Im not like that and when I asked my waiter for a water or something to wash it down because my throat was dry he just gave a stupid look Ive never been ignored so badly my whole life like I was tonight NEED TO FIRED THEM AND HIRE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK AND...

Worse service I have ever gotten especially for it being empty. Ordered the steak and eggs medium rare for my steak and I got it extra well done. It took Rosa 20 minutes just to take my order since she was too busy speaking creole to the chef and laughing. The other Spanish kid couldn’t make a waffle to save his life. To top it off I ordered my chocolate chip waffle with whipped cream I finally got it on the forth try by Rosa after I had to ask her to take off so they don’t burn it again 🤬 then asked again for whipped cream she replied what’s that? Lol you have got to be kidding me right?! So I asked the kid he claims oh we don’t have that here. I’m done take back my waffle. Check please! That took another 15 minutes just to get.
