The girl, Alissa, doing the food there tonight was extremely rude and snotty. I look at my quesadilla, I paid extra to have guacamole on, to ensure it had guacamole on before commencing to eat and couldn't see any noticeable guacamole. I go back in asking for the guac I paid for thinking they'd give me a tiny cup of guacamole. Instead she asks the number, No problem, I gave it. She smirks and says to bring it in and show her. In between the mirk and the attitude it was obvious she didn't believe me. Okay, I'll have to go get it from the table but I'll bring it inside. Inconvenient but fine. Her attitude, as if I'm trying to pull one over on Wawa for something so fancy as guacamole, set me on edge. Not, oh I put it on there are you sure it's not there? Had she been polite, I would've checked further because it is night and I am tired and if they barely put any on it'd be difficult to see(as is this case)but, no it was bring it to me and prove it. I went and get it from the table where my family was already sitting and eating. She opens it, digs around in my chicken and cheese and shows me a smear in the corner of a piece. Smirks even bigger. "It's right there. Have a nice night." Then she walks away. I was polite. I was in no way demanding or demeaning or rude but this is what the young "lady" at the food counter thinks is appropriate to treat a customer simply wondering where the part if the food paid for is. I did speak to the food court manager, Jesse, but while they offered a refund, I declined. I did not want free food or money. I just want to not be disrespected. Pic included so you too can play spot the guac. Usually they are great but not if this is who they're hiring and/or how they're training them now. 2 stars only because Wawa has always been good enough to go out of my way for and to recommend others....
Read moreThere isn't much about this store that bothers me except this one thing in particular... Their deli where they make the orders. I'm on the road by 4:30 a.m. and I understand they are preparing stuff, things have to get done I understand. But if i'm having to wait 20 min, 30 min as employees just walk by hoping you don't stop them and ask for help it gets really frustrating. I asked a guy one day hey is anyone working the deli and he said yes but they got alot of other things to take care of.. I said yea I get that but they must be in the back your right here watching me could you let them know I dont know something... He proceeded to tell again that they have other things to do than stand at the deli. I left without the order. They do this every single morning. I understand you got other task but something needs to give cause you are getting customers in at this time not only me and we are left just standing there and we got to go. I'm going to other stores till...
Read moreHow do you mess THIS up? I went in for a caramel and mocha frappe. Simple. Easy. Not rocket science. Somehow, the gas station barista alchemists decided to create… whatever THIS was.
Instead of caramel and mocha, I think they blended sadness, regret, and maybe windshield washer fluid. The whipped cream looked like it was tired of life, and the drink itself tasted like someone almost described a mocha to the blender but got distracted mid-sentence.
By the second sip, I wasn’t sure if I was drinking coffee or if my taste buds were being punished for stopping there. If you ever need a reminder that not all heroes wear aprons, but some villains definitely work at gas station blenders—this is it.
Pro tip: Next time, I’ll just eat an actual candy bar and cry into a cup of ice. Way...
