Wawa — Restaurant in Florida

My morning starts early. Really early. For the past three months, I have been picking up a cup of coffee and a croissant 🥐 sandwich before getting to work. I never expected much of the place - until I met those who work there. People like Stephan, who handles me my sandwich while I get my coffee ready every morning. People like Beth, who works on Wednesdays but makes an impact that lasts the whole week. She is smart, kind and understands service customer like a very few people I met in my life. Lilian has always been checking on me. Not in a business-forced or duty-oriented way. She does it and she means it. Eric was a great help when my app failed and he honored my rewards. Service there is so great even ducks 🦆 stop by to get their share of on-the-go food! I get my fuel ⛽️ there too, but it pales to comparison to my routinely cup of coffee ☕️ in the morning. I discovered the AWE of WaWa stores last year...great place. Would have been a full on 5 stars; However....about 5-7 days a week Ive been going to purchase the donuts. They are DELISH and enjoyed the price for buying half a dozen....6 for $3 instead of the .89 each. Well today I went and, didn't see any price increase signage so upon checkout I learned OVERNIGHT the price increased 33-34%. THAT'S a pretty extreme increase! Now its 6 for $3.99. Still doable but maybe now only 2-3 times week. To do an overnight 1/3rd increase is a lil greedy. But hey I guess because lots of people were taking advantage of bulk price they figure we wouldnt notice. I think 25cents or even 50 is cool... but as a hairdresser if I decide to raise my haircuts from $40; to 33% more it would then be $53.50 & quite a few of my customers would go elsewhere. I GET IT, its only donuts and a buck more but feel like it's a bummer when a yummy snack suddenly increases cost by an usually high 34%. Dont mess with my donuts! Haha Haha! and surprisingly, I only weigh 119lbs!! Please bring back 6 for $3...

I stop at this Wawa for breakfast almost every morning. Usually, the staff is friendly. This morning when I stopped in, I ordered my food, walked to the register to pay for it, and walked back to the waiting area. As I'm walking back, a young lady is stocking silverware at the pick up window. She walks to the back to make my food, and doesn't wash her hands. She slammed every single thing she touched while making my food. She then slapped my food on the counter, called my number, and walked away. I understand that I interrupted what she was doing, but if you don't want to or cant politely do your job, even when its inconvenient, you are in the wrong business. She isn't a usual team member that I see, so maybe this was just a freak incident, but either way, Wawa should be aware of how some team members treat and make...
