Wood-n-Spoon — Restaurant in Florida

I don't know where he found the waitress at but she is over wired she is over loud she closes off the section of the restaurant before it's even supposed to close like 2 hours and people start pouring in they sit over there. She acts like she owns the place. She also overcharged my bill $9 how do you charge a bill over $9 all I had was clam chowder and a a half sandwich and my bill was 17 bucks and it should have been $8. Manager had to come out and reduce my bill and redo it. As far as the restaurant itself it's really neat and has good food it has an old-timey cooler in the front glass stacked with eggs and all the things an Olde Time Grocery cooler would have to cook with it's pretty cool. I'll go back in a year or two when the girl has graduated high school and is out the door hopefully gone on to become whatever she was telling everybody in the restaurant she was going to become because she was talking to one person and it was like she was on...

When I came here the first time I was strolling down the road until I found this breakfast restaurant.

They were closed. It was at 3:02 PM on a Monday I knocked on the door and I said excuse me can I have a water? And then Mike the owner, he got here a large cup of water. I have just been there. I got two flavored chocolate pancakes with two sides of eggs and the young girl was nice to me, including all of the employees. They were happy and uplifting. while I was praying to God saying thank you, the young girl brought me a large cup of water. And then I felt so thankful, I told Mike the owner that your restaurant was the best place. I was telling him that while looking at him in the eyes. And then I also told him that I will also be bringing my family here as well. Thank you wooden spoon.

While I can appreciate the homey atmosphere the service here is seriously lacking. Ive attempted to go to the wooden spoon twice. The first time I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a side of hashbrowns. My sandwich was sub-par kind of soggy but good and my hash browns were never served. The waitress apologized but the cook would not make another because it was past 11:00. We were the only ones there and since they had forgotten about my food they shouldve fixed it and made another.

The second time we called at about 2:15 to see if we would be able to come there for lunch since they close at 3. The response was “Well we have some cleaning up to do afterwards”. Just a basic rule of thumb you never turn down business. No matter how close it is to closing. Very poor and we are not inclined...
