It's difficult to share sufficiently without sounding like a sycophant.
We've been going here for about 4 months. The two weeks we traveled over the holidays were, with a single exception (to a location with newer, but not as many, machines), without workouts.
YOW did it make itself evident on our return. Strength and comfort both suffered. However, we've now been back twice, and most of the pain is gone, and we resume our workouts.
This is the first time in almost 60 years I've spent any time in a gym, so I had a LOT of catching up to do.
The staff, and the not-employee trainers, and our co-self-abusers (well, or body builders, if you like that term better) are all delightful. We've made many friends there (literally; none have had any contact with us on our or their parts), and we really look forward to going our 4x weekly (we do upper and lower body work on separate days, with Wednesday and weekends off, so each group gets 2 or 3 days' rest between sessions) workouts.
If there's a question of how to achieve something, or exactly how to adjust a machine, both the trainers and the staff are right there to help.
We very much enjoy going, and benefit hugely. Nice people, nice place,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was at this gym for years, it was very nice to go to every day, until recently. Sketchy people started joining the gym, I had this weird acting guy following me everywhere, and I felt highly uncomfortable. Then, my uncle lost his earphones, and I asked the girl that works there, and she was like "cameras don't work so I cannot help you". besides how uncomfortable I was feeling, they started implementing fees and increasing prices for the monthly payments. It always gets overpacked, machines don't work (most of the times), not clean as you can observe dust all over. Also, there's this lady that she trains people at the gym, and she always put a little paper that says, "IN USE" and so while she is all the way down using another machine with her costumers you are not allowed to use whatever there's a paper "IN USE". I don't think that is fair because we are paying for it as well. I decided to leave and even though I have been looking for a gym (A GOOD ONE) , I do not want to come back . I was there since I was 17 years old and loved it but it has changed so much. Almost everyone I know left that gym because of crowded and low...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNew member here im also a member of another gym however I joined Anytime well of course because I can go work out "anytime" as oppose to my gym that closes and opens at a certain time. I do love the variety of equipment at Anytime and I love that the gym is broken up into different rooms all of the equipment isnt just jammed in one large space I like the privacy aspect of when you are working out especially when you like to get zoned in. I will say I had a great customer service experience with the nice lady who handle enrolling my membership however since I have been back when I enter the gym whatever employee or employees they have for the day will look at me as if I have 3 heads when I am coming in your gym smiling greet someone say hello good morning as you do any other human being right? Lol no it isnt a deal breaker but it is hilarious to see when I...
