So i take my bf (keep in mind HE'S a cop) my neighbor and my son. We started off with axe throwing. THE INITIAL greeting from the owner "wife" was very dry / rude. (At the time maybe 5 ppl there. The "husband" owner i presume was very helpful in the area of axe throwing . However the "wife" or owner was so rude. We stay, throw axes for 30 min then order food. My neighbor who has been here for 45 min decides to order food and also for her husband who is a cop, so he stops by while on duty to eat on his break and not 2secs in the door she approaches him and ask him to move his vehicle to the alley. We all for a moment laughed thinking it was a joke. Because who would come at someone that quick and rudely...... her husband "the cop" asked are you kidding ? , she responds no im serious, leave we dont like cops , hurts our business , we are german this is how we are..... lets let this sink in... how would you handle this ????? He ask her once more are you kidding..... she goes on to say "no! Im not. We dont like cops ,people will see your vehicle and not stop. I'll ask again move vehicle to alley" How rude could you possibly be to an officer on duty who chose to eat at your facility on his break. And dont think twice on deleting this comment because we recorded the entire thing as it went down. An officer working a 12 hr shift chooses to stop at this hole in wall bar/ax throwing and gets told to move before he can even sit down. Any facility who doesn't back the blue and treats them with so much disrespect is...
Read moreAtmosphere was inviting, however the Service was horrible. Arrived at opening to enjoy my first experience at axe throwing with my sister. The German bartender or owner was rude from initial meeting since stepping inside the pub. When we ordered our food, the bartender/owner questioned whether my sister was able to eat "all that food" because she had ordered 2 meals for herself, which made me hesitant to order anything at all. When asked for payment, the bartender/owner swiped our credit cards and threw them back at us on the table. The bartender/owner escorted us to the axe throwing cages and acted as if it was a task explaining the rules of the game to my sister and I being our first experience. When food finally arrived, my sister and I sat down to eat only to be disturbed 15 minutes into dining as the bartender/owner asked if my sister needed a to go box for her 2nd meal. We felt rushed and unwelcome. After finishing our meal, we decided to leave and call it a night. We walked out of the pub only to have the bartender/owner rush out yelling we need to close out our tabs that we "never" opened. My sister and I walked back into the pub to sign our receipts, and I apologized to the bartender/owner saying we never intended to open a tab and were wondering why we never received our receipts when we initially ordered our meals upon arrival. First and last time at this establishment. Customer service definitely needs...
