Saw this place on my way through town one day so thought I'd come back and give it a try. Came back with my wife a few days later but was very dissappointed with the experience. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Our server was the only good part of this experience. We asked what farms the restaurant uses for their product but unfortunately the only answer we received was that the mushrooms were local. It appears that nothing else is local here. Being a farm-to-table place I figured they would use local farms. Ordered the chicken for the wife and steak for myself. My steak had a weird texture and just seemed off, and wife's chicken was overcooked and salty. People at the bar were very loud and unfortunately due to the size of the restaurant we couldn't be seated further away. It's sad because I wanted to like this place but I can not...

Well water sometimes gets funny, I get it. Never once was it mentioned it was $3 per refill. I’d understand if it was from a bottle, or canned soda, but it was brewed tea. And it was never mentioned.

In these days of COVID, that is a big no-no, not to mention against the governor’s rules for restaurant employees during COVID. I have an autoimmune disease and this was highly concerning. Food was good, chicken liver pate and scallops were scrumptious, as well as the pumpkin cheesecake. Hubby had a cocktail, he said it was fresh and tart, just how he likes it. My wine was delicious, hubby loved the roast chicken and said the creme brûlée was about the best he’s ever had because of the soft creamy texture. The place is not much to look at on the outside but is quaint and cozy and welcoming on the inside. Docked 2 stars...
