Very poor service.
Out of an order of three items the food was delivered to the table with two out of the three items wrong and having to be set back to the kitchen.
Not only is this type of mistake a major pet peeve for me since half the party eats while the other party has to wait for their food to arrive.
To make it worse the dining room was almost empty and they weren't busy at the time.
I brought people there for the first time because they never tried farm boys before, was not a good first impression.
Additionally, somebody who taken take out return while we're eating and complain that their order was incorrectly done and then had to wait while they redid it. And like I said previously it was not busy can't imagine what it must be like in there what it is.
Felt overall the dining room was very dirty. The booths on either side of us which had no one there when we arrived had dirty plates and we're not clean and still look that way when we left. No one from the restaurant came out when we were there and made any attempt to clean tables.
Then while we're eating the phone rang incessantly without ever being answered. I'm assuming it was people calling to place orders. It droned on and on which was not creating a relaxing environment.
Bend other farm boys and I always thought they were great. Don't think I'm ever going to bother going back to this location again, was a very...
Read moreI hate to give bad reviews but I give it as it is. When I walked in, the young lady seemed in a rush and I stood there for about 4 minutes, no one in front of me and only one person in the restaurant. I wanted to try some BBQ brisket and I was longing for my state BBQ brisket, Texas and I have tried many BBQ places here in California and it is just not the same. I love California and love working here but I just cannot get a decent BBQ dinner here. I asked for the brisket to be a little fatty so that the meat is not dry and dense and she acted like I asked for nothing but fat and I explained to her the premise of the fat in the brisket to keep it moist and loose and she said it is precut so no. Ok, she asked if I wanted beans and rice and I cannot pass up beans and I said that would be great and thank you. I sat down and waited for my dinner and I just could not believe that the brisket was warmed up on a flat top and it was dry and dense. I was going to asked for my beans and rice but I just thought I better just eat the fries and tried the cold onion ring. It was also served with chicken vegetables soup which was OK but did not go with my meal. The toast and French fries were good but everything else was really not good at all and maybe they serve other great dishes but I just do not see myself going back to try anything else. I hope them well and I gave them 2 stars just for the clean...
Read moreI used the drive-thru to order my food. Let me start by saying the outside is very catchy minus all the trucks in the back of the resturaunt. When I ordered a burger the woman didnt even bother to ask if I wanted a meal. I insisted on having the meal, and she didnt ask me what drink I wanted. She said "alright just come to the window". I pull up to the window and it's not the woman that took my order. Its a young boy. He told me my total and took my card. NOT EVEN HE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT I NEVER GOT ASKED WHAT DRINK I WANTED. I said "hey the lady never asked me what drink I wanted". He says "yeah what do you want". WOW. At this point I'm furious, but I dont say anything because I'm not confrontational at all. Mind you, I'm on my lunch and I literally sat there for 20 minutes waiting for my food. I'm already getting nervous from being back to work on time. He hands me my food and then the drink. The cap wasn't even on! And the cup was covered in spilled soda. In my head I was thinking, do you seriously not see this?! And he didnt even bother to apologize. I'm not one to complain and honestly this is the longest review I have ever written, but they seriously gave me a horrible experience. I wont...
