Well, that was about the most horrible customer service experience I have ever had. I went through the drive thru and ordered a three piece egg roll. That was it. Cheap and simple. I get to the window, pay for my order. I was charged $4.18 so I figured that is close enough to the price of the egg rolls. They hand me a bag with two tacos and a small fry. Okay, big deal, they mixed something up. I am assuming that they did not ring me up because my order did not appear on the screen and they were changing the registers cash tray when I got to the window leading me to think they forgot about me and charged me for the order of the car behind me. I understand, mistakes happen. If they had corrected it, they would not be getting a one star review. But did they correct it? No they did not. When I mentioned that I did not order two tacos and a small fry (which sounds nothing like a three piece egg roll), instead of saying "my bad, let me fix that", they proceeded to argue with me. The kid working the drive thru looked at me like I am a liar, spoke with someone over his head set and said "two people in here heard you say tacos and a small fry". I let him know that I did not, and he keeps arguing. Dude, why argue over a $4 order? It is not like I handed you a $5 bill and tried to say I gave you $100. Why would I seriously waste my time messing with drive-thru workers? So then he tells me I can keep the tacos and the small fry and he will charge me for the egg rolls. So now he thinks I want to double pay? I don't want the freaking tacos and fries. I hate fries. Take the tacos and fries back and give me my egg rolls. Done, simple, get on with your day. Nope, he keeps arguing. I tell him to give me my money back and take his tacos and fries. He calls who I assume is the shift manager and he also argues with me. I told him to give my money back and the store number along with the corporate office number in which he responded very sarcastically "we are a franchise store, we do not have a corporate office". Franchise or not, corporate can help me, and I found their information, and they forward me to the district manager of that store. Don't B.S me. I know how the system works. I was a store manager for a major fast food chain for several years. By far the worst customer service experience I ever had. All that over...

Wasn’t a big deal to me, but then I get to the window, pay and asked to go park in front of the store. I said ok, I go and park. Waited and waited, mind you I only ordered tacos. I decide to turn my car off and go inside which is an inconvenience (this is “fast” food rt?) I tell the boy working there I’ve been waiting outside for my two orders of tacos, he simply turns around and grabs tacos puts them in a bag and hands it to me… so I’m just confused why I had to wait so long if the tacos were there and ready to be put in a bag? If you’re busy, I get it, I own a business so I really do get it, but please don’t have your customers park up front just to put them on the back burner, especially for a small order like tacos. Get your team organized and stationed appropriately so that the line is flowing and have the food ready in a timely manner. I waited about 35 minutes total (in drive thru...
Read moreThis is the 2nd Jack in the Box that I have had issues with in Fontana. I used to go to Jack in the box often but since this, I have not. I went here with my mom and got a teriyaki chicken rice bowl with an egg roll. My mom took a bite of the egg roll once I received it. My mom then decided that she wanted to order an order of eggrolls. She asked the man kindly if she could get an order of eggrolls and, with a sharp tone, he said "I don't have time for this, you need to go back around and order again, there's someone behind you." There was only one person behind us and they were not busy at all. We had just pulled up to get our food so it wasn't like the person behind was waiting long. The crazy part is that Jack in the box has a sign that says, "go ahead, it's not too late to order," so the fact that the man (possibly manager) working couldn't reach back and just hand us a couple eggrolls while we pay shows a lot about this...
