Niyozaki Grill — Restaurant in Fontana

I'm what you call a regular here at this fine establishment & bid you fair warning that if you love consistency in good food for a good price then you too will join the conglomerate of people that return here for these very reasons. The Niyozaki Grill sits in a busy plaza next to one of Fontana's arteries off of Baseline. The staff are more then accommodating and I have never had any issues with any of my orders what so ever! The one thing that "grinded my gears" 😅 was when they took Sushi Nigri off of the menu albeit the options are expansive and I have no problem substituting with different rolls. I was excited to try this place however I was extremely disappointed. The food isn't fresh. I got a spicy tuna salmon roll and I couldn't eat more that one piece. I'm sure that roll was on its last day before they had to toss it. I also got the chicken and steak with rice. They cut the pieces of steak and chicken so small. I couldn't finish the food after I took a bite of the Brocolli and it had an after taste of like it's been stored in the refrigerator for too long. The KING crab rangoons lol they have no crab.. Food is always so bomb, young man who usually takes the order has no expression to him, not a great face to be serving the customer he needs to smile more it makes it look like he doesn’t want to work… I understand but it’s customer service. It’s very humid in the actual building, no ac and no form of entertainment, no tvs on the wall no radio playing straight silence…. Maybe a tv would help the ambiance a bit but the food is always good and fresh. Just needs a little bit more smiles and a cheap Bluetooth speaker...
