We want to have pies. What make good pies for the most part is the crust. We bought an apple pie and a wild blueberry pie, both have decent fillings with not overwhelmingly sweetness, however, the crusts are unattractive, undercooked ,and very plain with no flavor, not flaky nor crusty. If you are looking for any buttery taste in these, you will be disappointed, since there is none hinted in both the crusts and the fillings. Additionally, when you're paying by cards, expect to see tip suggestions on the payment page which you must sign, which I find a bit offended as I bought the products "to go". Be prepared to pay premium prices for the pies. Choices are plentiful, though. If I would try other pies, I'd go for coconut creme, since there's only bottom crust...

I'm not a big pie guy but was recommended by a friend. Did not disappoint. What I liked most is that the apple pies are made from apples grown on the family farm. The apple pie was delicious but if that's not your thing they have a large variety of fruit and cream pies to choose from. However, no key lime pie. There is a small French cafe attached to the property if you're looking for other food. We didn't go there but it was very cute and I will go back to try it when I'm in the area

Best of all, this is a local family business. Mom started out years ago making one pie a day and has grown from there. They still sell their pies at the local farmers market and county Fair. If you're in the mood for pie, I think you'll like...

The single most disappointing apple pie I’ve ever had. If I could give zero stars I would. I paid almost 40 dollars for a pie filled with air. Honestly, I’ve never seen anything like it and if a pie could be a scam this would be it. This is the Nigerian Prince of apple pies. We were sold this giant, heaping mountain of a pie…it was the pie version of the turkey in Christmas Vacation. (IYKYK) It looked awesome…and then I cut it. There was maybe an inch of pie filling, 3 inches of air, and then a flake-less, tasteless, crust that opened up to…nothing. I haven’t been this disappointed since I lost my virginity. The filling tasted fine. Not 40$ and tented...

After my first time here, I made it a point to stop by every time I was in the area. The first two times, the pies were excellent. And then, today, this happened. I mean, look at that. It looks like somebody baked a really good strawberry rhubarb pie, barfed it back up again, and baked a fresh crust over it. I'm such a pie junkie I ate that piece anyway, and damn if it wasn't still delicious, both crust and filling. My family is so grossed out by it, they won't touch it. I'll probably have to eat the whole thing myself, but don't think I won't. Since this strawberry rhubarf makes one bad pie out of three, I'm still going back. But fool me once...

Okay I promised myself I would start writing reviews for places I go because people need to know the truth. My friend and I got two 6in pies, one strawberry rhubard and one triple berry. The crust is bad. My friend said stale but it's honestly just bad. Hard, no flake to it at all. The filling itself is good, but using the word filling would imply that the pie was full, which it was not. I also want to add that these 6in pies were $19.50 each. This is an actual scam. Listen, I'm sure this place was good once upon a time. But if you cannot find a way to stay in business without scamming your customers, you need a reality check.
