This review isn't as much about the food as it is the service. My daughter had ordered a Boba drive (highly recommend, it was so good!) and she was walking in the parking lot nearby when she tripped and hit the ground hard while her drink went flying in the air and spilled everywhere. One of the co workers saw it and went to the owner and explained what happened. The owner came out and told us that she was going to give her a new drink even though her drink was already done.
On top of the drink, she gave my daughter a free ice cream. She saw my two sons and gave them ice creams as well. She was so kind and sweet, she stayed talking to us for a really long time. I kept saying thank you and that she didn't have to do that and she looked me in the eye and said "We need more kindness in the world. Doing acts of kindness for others will keep kindness going, I know the world is full of kind people who do kind things all the time."
The world needs more people like the owner of this business. Her actions were a great example to my children. Not because she gave them something, but her empathy towards my daughter and kindness spread. Long story short, the owner of this business is the kind of owner of a business we need more of and I am so grateful we met her. Our town needs more people like her to thrive. Thank...
Read moreAwesome and convenient food truck if youâre looking for a quick bite before sunset at La Push. They were slammed when we arrived on a Tuesday around 5pm and got even busier after we had ordered and received food. The seating area is on rocky gravel terrain with camp chairs and fire pits spread out so you feel cozy but not crowded.
Lots of options on the menu but we ended up getting the Longhorn Louie and Captainâs Plate. Both were excellent and left us more than satisfied with plenty of leftovers for breakfast the next day.
Note that the burgers already come with steak fries.. it just doesnât specify on the menu. You do NOT need to order a separate side of fries :)
There were two wonderful young ladies cranking out food and people just kept coming to line up and order. Michelle was very vocal and made sure everyone knew which tickets were being prepared and she handled the chaos gracefully. I canât imagine what it was like for her to keep track of it all.
I jumped back in line to get two ice cream sandwiches (honey lavender and blueberry cobbler?) so we could munch on them while watching the sunset at the beach.
Overall this was a great way to spend an evening and we really wanted to recognize Michelle and her small but mighty staff for...
Read moreThey are on First Beach now. GPS will tell you to turn right, but don't. Turn left to go to first beach and you'll see them on the left. It's a very nice, stationary food truck. And, let me tell you it was worth finding. Some of the best food we've had in the PNW. I'm typically an Ivars gal, but, if you want good fish and chips or anything else, it's totally worth the drive to see them. It takes a little while to wait for them to cook it, so please be patient. They cook as you order so it's fresh and hot when you get it. Great people, amazing service, incredible food, large portions. Unless you're Shaq, you will have leftovers. We will definitely drive back again, even if it's just to...
