Painted Horse Buffet — Restaurant in Fort Hall

The buffet reminded me of a "chain hotel" complimentary breakfast 😬😬.. upon arriving we had to serve ourselves drinks which nobody knew where, a waiter showed us an it was in a small corner room.. good thing we asked!!😲 They didn't want to make more bacon, the omelet station was more like scrambled eggs station ( rubbery eggs) they don't cook upon request of an omelette , just bins full of veggies eggs,😬the sausage looked microwaved..😬.. the cooks wouldn't talk an looked mean!🙁 The pancakes/waffles lady was very kind an very helpful though 😀.. This buffet is the worst buffet ive ever been to! The just opened a 4 and i arrived at 4:30, food was cold and bland. Meat was tough, potatoes looked like playdough, i couldn't eat any of it, the server wo brought our drinks was super nice but some of the servers by the food just looked at you and didn't say anything. For being the first people to arrive at open the food looked like it was already mostly eaten. Very little to choose from, after a bite of each thing i chose i didn't eat anything other than a salad, i was so scared i would get sick. Cold bland horrible food! Waste of money...

It is hidden in the back, through the casino, which was really weird with 4 kids with us. The buffet was standard but fresh AYCE fair, with order to temp steaks, pasta bar, hot bar, desserts with GELATO....my 14y/o son ate all the flavors!!!! Staff was amazing, even with only n hour left open. They made sure we knew they would be pulling the food off, sang Happy Bday!, and cleared dirty dishes almost as soon as we put the silverware down!!!
