FESsing up about Fort Mill Family Restaurant: If you wonder where everyone is on Sunday brunch, this is the hidden (well, not so hidden) place. Be prepared to wait but it was worth it. F(ood): ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Great chicken and dumplings and solid fried okra. I wasn’t a huge fan of the broccoli (would have liked it softer and some more salt which I could add of course). My daughter had a good portion of silver dollar pancakes and they were tasty and crisp bacon. E(nvironment): ⭐️ ⭐️ Nothing spectacular here but patrons don’t come for the view. S(ervice): ⭐️ ⭐️ The hostess very pleasant but to be honest most other people who worked there had a scowl on their face or seemed not happy to be working. I will return on a weekday and try out some other food and see if perhaps the servers, cashiers, etc were just having an especially tough Sunday the day I came.

Came here for the first time today. Very pleased with the experience. Our server was very friendly and regularly checked on our table. Food was really good. The biscuits tasted fresh. Nothing was overly salted which is a huge win. I thank places that don't use too much salt. It ruins the food. The omelettes and home fries were perfect and similar to what I make at home. Seems like a good family dining spot and older crowd morning hangout. Clean and comfortable! My 1 star removal on the food is because of some pricing is kind of odd to me. 1 egg is $1.99 but if I remove the egg from the breakfast wrap it only take off $.20. not sure how that equates. Most things are fairly priced and in line with what I've had elsewhere.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Sneaky hole in the wall Mom and Pop/Family run shop. Great food, decent prices, and well run establishment ALWAYS checking on you, refilling coffees, drinks, and extremely attentive.. beer and wine available also... And their omelettes and fried chicken and waffles are phenomenal! I've been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner.. and WILL be back! Thanks guys for amazing experiences everytime I've been there.. your passion shows and it's so DAMN refreshing...

First time to this local Greek-owned diner. We heard good things, so we thought we'd check it out. We went for an 11am Sunday breakfast, and it was jammed. It was probably the post-church crowd. But the staff was clearly on top of things, so our wait time was only about 10 minutes. There is a small outdoor patio area that has maybe 5-7 tables, but we chose to enjoy the AC and eat inside. The inside atmosphere is nothing special. It's kind of an old diner / cafeteria setting. But we weren't there for atmosphere; we were there to eat. The first thing that we noticed was that their prices are very good! The menu has a lot of good breakfast options, and we ordered several to try (sorry, we forgot to take pictures of the food). For being as busy as it was, our food came out rather quickly; but, they got my wife's pancake order wrong and brought french toast instead. The gentleman who was bussing the table next to us overheard us talking about the mix-up and he was quick to correct the order for us. It seems the staff works well as a team. We always appreciate great customer service, and this place did not disappoint. The only reason we gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because we thought the food was a bit bland. The short stack pancakes were kind of crusty and tasteless and the sausage gravy over biscuits was mediocre. The Big View Diner in Ballantyne set the mark very high for great tasting pancakes, so we always compare pancakes to theirs. Overall, we left stuffed to the rafters. We agreed that our first experience was pretty good and that we'd definitely be back. If you haven't tried this spot, at least for breakfast, give them a chance. It's pretty darn good and will not...

This place is just what you think it would be. It's a family restaurant with "okay" food. Most of it being just plain mediocre. The staff is pleasant and the food arrives quickly each time. I was excited to order the biscuits and gravy since I had not had that for some time, but I was very disappointed with my plate. The gravy was okay but the biscuits were clearly the frozen style (which in some cases would also be okay, however, these biscuits were just plain awful) but along with that they weren't even fresh. They had hard edges where they had clearly been reheated after sitting awhile. I get that it is hard to keep food fresh and stocked but when the biscuit is the main ingredient in my dish I wouldn't have minded waiting a little longer than normal for a fresh one. Furthermore, I have always said I dont mind the prices to eat out going up with this crazy economy but you cant raise the prices and downgrade the food.... people will notice just like me. So although this place has been around for a long time I dont understand why because I think it is over priced and really...

My fiancé and I were BLOWN AWAY at how amazing our experience was here. We usually leave disappointed after going out for breakfast but this place was the opposite. Our food was cooked perfectly to our personal liking. THE MOST PERFECT SUNNY SIDE UP EGGS!!! Our waiter was so attentive, refilling coffees before we could finish, came back for our order at the perfect time. He asked us about what our plans were for the day and we got on the topic of fishing. He told us a few fishing stories, and gave us a few tips to catch more. Then, another worker came up and handed my fiance a FISHING LURE! We were so blown away by the kindness of these two men. There were also two women who were working and they also came to our table to help and made us laugh. We loved this place and we love them!! Its hard to come by places like this anymore. We will be back as soon as possible!

Edited to add: I came back here for a second time and remembered to take pictures. All the staff remembered us and treated us...
