I stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. The special today was Meatloaf- which I have had in the past and it is remarkable. Perhaps that is why it was sold out by the time I arrived. I settled for the Oxtails with yellow rice and Mac n Cheese which was phenomenal....oxtails tender, well-seasoned, the yellow rice has a rich sweet pepper taste that I love. Bro these reviews have to be CAP, the food is terrible. I ordered greens, fried chicken, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. For this to be considered soul food, there was absolutely no soul put into this. I was given cabbage instead of Mac and cheese, they’re definitely serving boxed mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese is gross, tastes like craft microwaveable soaked in cheese, and the chicken tastes like nothing but flour/batter. I’m so disappointed. Ew ew ew.
