I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent dining experience at your establishment. With 28 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including serving as a military chef and working in corporate hospitality, I was taken aback by the behavior of one of your waitresses. When I informed her that the coleslaw tasted rancid, she scolded me, implying that I was mistaken. I found this response to be unprofessional and appalling, particularly given my extensive background in the industry. My mother had also tasted the coleslaw and confirmed that it was spoiled. I brought this to the attention of the manager, who was courteous and apologized for the issue. However, I was dismayed by the waitress's behavior and the fact that she had another waitress address me in a condescending manner. Despite the unpleasant experience, I left a $30 tip on a $113 bill. I intend to report this incident to the Better Business Bureau and will be providing them with the details of my visit, including the address of the establishment and the name of the waitress. I hope that your company will take steps to address the internal issues that led to this unacceptable behavior. I am thrown so far back that I will never eat at any establishment that has that name, further more I will exspress my distasteful opinion moving forward. I just don't understand how you can fix an issue with a coupon. I have been insulted enough. It's just unfortunate that I was pushed so far back by the ability's of so many. Read moreTerrible Service! If I could give all zeros I would. Let’s just say I haven’t been to Red lobster in over a year but was excited about their Lobster special I saw on TV so decided to visit. But When we arrived the host told us they were on a 25 minute wait which wasn’t bad. So I asked if we can sit at the bar the host said they were also on a wait to sit at the bar. No problem, we sat down and waited patiently until a guy just waltzed right by us and was served at the bar after we had been waiting 45mins. So I asked the host & his excuse was that he just walked passed him without checking with him. So I talked to the manager & he told me that the bartender was new & she didn’t want any tables so “That’s on her”! But my question for him was how does that help customers? My husband asked me to just relax & wait so I continued to wait past an hour just to have another guy waltz right in, sit at the bar and receive service from that bartender who didn’t want tables (RIGHT)! So now I’m livid. Go back to the manager and ask if she’s not seating at the bar and only taking from wait list how did those two gentleman who came after me and the 5ppl ahead of me and got serviced ? He then says oh the bar is open yeah you can seat yourself at the bar as first come/first serviced and tell the host that people can sit at the bar. Only for the host to lie & said we asked for a bar table is the reason why he had us wait. But I watched him turn numerous guests away by telling them they had a whole bunch of people waiting on seating and that they only had two servers (at prime dinner time 6pm)???? This place needs to just close if they can’t render service to guests and can not find competent staff/management to represent the red lobster brand. Won’t waste my valuable time going back to an establishment that doesn’t value their...
Read moreWe stopped here today to grab a late lunch. We soon realized they were short staffed but it was no biggie. I'm going to start with the restaurant is kind of run down and not the cleanest. Our menus should of been thrown away because they were in rough shape. They sat us at a table that was dirty and had no light so we asked our server can we move to another table. She seemed annoyed a little with the request but allowed us to move to another table. They tried to sit someone else at the same table and they asked to be moved also. It took 20 to 30 minutes to get our drinks and to place a order. Because she must of been overwhelmed we made sure to drink or drinks slowly because refills were tough to get. I ordered the admirals feast and let's just say it was bad. The clam strips pretty much just bread, the shrimp were hard because they were over cooked (plus the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while because the metal plate was hot). The fish was greasy and tasted like the grease was old. The scallops tasted bad like they were bad. I ate maybe 30% off the food and when the server finally came to check on us she asked if I wanted a too go container I said no and she was just going to take the plate away instead of asking why I didn't hardly eat anything. So I had to make a snide comment about how the food was bad. She heard me and came back and asked what was wrong with the food. I tried to tell her but she must of not wanted to here me and told me she would get it taken off my bill and walked away. If you guys want to charge $48 for meals then you might want to clean and update the restaurant first. Also get rid of the stench when you walk in...
