Waffle House — Restaurant in Fort Myers

Food is Great. Food is made quickly and has great flavor. The servers that I have had were just not clear with their pricing. The last two times I went in, I ordered food and was charged for things I was not told about. I ordered a Cheese,Egg, Sausage, and Grits Bowl. It had a piece of cheese on it. Wasn't the whole piece of cheese. About a 1 inch piece. I asked for another piece of cheese. At the end of my meal, I was charged 50 cents for it. The cheese was for the grits bowl. The cheese that was supposed to be included on the grits bowl. I should have been more clear about it. That I wanted the cheese for the grits bowl. And that I should not have been charged extra. But I figured it would not change anything. Because last time, I ordered an Angus Burger. And was asked, Do I want an "Original" Burger or "Angus". I asked for the Angus for $2. The Original is $2 and the other burger is $3.70. They are just about the same size. The staff showed me the differences between the two patties. One is about one centimeter bigger. I asked for the $2 Burger. I was charged $3.70. I told the waitress that I wanted the $2 burger and she would not change the price. That is bad customer service. The food is good. But it seems like I get charged for "extra" things every time I go. I like to have a price. And know what I'm paying. I feel like I have been hustled out of my money. I believe that the overnight staff is a hardworking crew. They seem like friendly people. I just would like a price change if I believed I was charged the wrong price. sucked bad loud obnoxious younger staff Constantly yellin out "brah" brahhhh others acting veryyyy ghetto once 1 of the staff notice my familys discomfort he constantly came & ask sup you good ? everybody good? Y'all good?? Came back 3 xs my 6 yr old gave a thumbs up but we clearly just wanted to be left alone then said "atleast somebody answered" 2 waitresses appeared after my original server came insisting she had left that they took over now but they didnt know who was the 1 taking over we look around room & our elderly waitress was just washing dishes which her name was lori and she was very kind helpful patient with my kids ordering. But she was not gone still working the bathroom was dirty and had no hand soap in there and the waffles Were burnt not sorta not a little Im talking Fresh batter was poured over thick burnt pieces burnt like tasted like charred i wont recommend & its sad because we loveeeeee...

They know I AM ADDICTED TO ... have my brunch at HOME... corporates should change the name of this waffle house ... I feel like in WAFFLE HOME... that's the way they make me feel everytime I park in there... I think they have somebody working on ADDICTIVE SCENTS cause you open your car door and .... WOW... YOU GET HOOKED... no way to go, no chance to escape.... They trap you and pull you in... I feel like a king the minute I cross that door... All smiles, respect, that promptness on attending my needs, and just the way MOM used to get my breakfast back in my early years. I have a question? Is that a WAFFLE HOUSE or a SMILE FACTORY? I've read some of the reviews and I think they clicked on the wrong spot? Just to make it easier to understand. These girls will get my bank account in purple even though I WILL BE HAVING MY FEAST OF THE BREAKFAST WITH THEM. YOU ALL ROCK BEST WAFFLE HOME...
