Redbone's 1 Bar & Grill / liquor store — Restaurant in Fort Myers

Husband and I were super disappointed. We've been driving by for about a year now always saying we have to stop by sometime, because we love quirky dive bar kind of places like that. Tonight was finally the night, and it was one of the worst $60 I've ever spent. Bartender was nice, but that's about all the compliments there is to give. My drink wasn't mixed well and my husband just got a cherry coke that was super watered down. My drink tasted like straight sour mix, shrimp was overcooked, unseasoned and still had the digestive tract in a few of them, steak was medium rare when we asked for medium well, fries were kind of stale tasting like they were made too early and warmed back up when the rest of my food was ready. The baked beans were just gross, super thick with hardly any sauce, lots of pulled pork in them which tasted kind of old, and just plain tasting, no hints of brown sugar, mustard, worstechire, none of that, just plain beans. But worst of all was our $26 rib plate. I asked the bartender how the ribs are and she assured me that they're amazing. Well, she was very wrong. Good ribs should fall of the bone, have a little crispy smoked skin on them from the charcoal, and have a good tasting sauce. These ribs were so tough that we were having trouble separating them even using a steak knife. They were half chewy, unsatisfying meat that was hard to even tear off the bone, and half grisly fat. No delicious tender pork at all. We added sauces to our ribs trying to make it better, and they were pretty good, as was the garlic toast. We left our plates full of barely touched food, and tried to express our unhappiness and lack of satisfaction but the bartender didn't seem to notice. She was a nice girl, perhaps we weren't being obvious enough but we aren't rude people and didn't want to press it or make a scene. I worked in food service for 7 years, sometimes as a waitress and sometimes in the back of house, and I am a firm believer that you should get what you pay for. I love this place, very nice atmosphere, really nice drinks, great food and my favorite is the grouper bites and the steak bites. Today 3-23-22 I went to get Dinner and the bar Waitress “ Tess” was so rude, forgetful, and unprofessional. She forgot my dressing for my salad when she brought my food and drinks she slammed him down in front of me, and I was telling the gentleman next to me how rude and unprofessional she was and she stopped and turned and asked me what did you say? I said first of all I am not talking to you, and should be plo while I’m talking to you, I said to him she must be on something she got to be losing her mind to be talking to me like that. I have been going there for six years I am from Michigan I moved to Fort Myers eight years ago live on the river and I spend good money and give good tips there at Red Bones. Teresa was the first far waitress I met when I start going there and I have met really nice friendly people so that’s why I continue to go there along with the good food. But this waitress has lost her mind she start yelling at a lady around my age 67 years old next to me and told her to leave her bar, they started arguing back-and-forth, I said to the guy if she can’t handle it she needs to go home. She hurt me so she had some smart words to say to me again, I told her she needs to go in and handle her business in this restaurant and leave me alone. As I kept talking to him she kept walking past and smart remarks, next thing I know she came back to me and said she called the owner and the owner told me to leave I left and I will never return there again. I have been one of the persons that has been writing real nice reviews on the food and atmosphere at Red Bones but it has changed and that waitress Tess is ruining...

Redbones has lost their touch I went last Monday night I used to brag my to my family and friends about the place and when I went last Monday night there was only one server there or bartender and she goes it'll be a minute for I serve you it took her an hour well by the time she got there she was starting to take our order and I said I was freaking hungry so she took her order in and my guest which is a family member from up North that I had bragged about the place I took around to look around I went to go show her the inside where it just happened to be where they make the food I could hear the waitress from she was saying if she's freaking hungry why don't you freaking go someplace else can freaking eat I could not believe my ears and my sister-in-law was shocked when she heard that could not believe her ears so at that moment I decided when she came out I was going to confront her which I did she never denied it I told her I did not want my order and I would never come back obviously she Banned Me from coming which is no problem and I would not recommend this place anymore it's not friendly it doesn't make you feel like family any anymore and I would not recommend this place anymore I even tried contacting the owner which never contacted me back it's probably because the waitresses never gave him the information never recommend this place again.
