UH OH BIG OLE SPAGHETTI - OH!?
Hereās how the happiest dumb accident turned me into a loyal customer! Busy night - no time for cooking - DoorD@$# to the rescue, right!? Wrong. VOCELLI to the rescue!! First time customer. Regular DoorD@$#er. We noticed tonight that Vocelli had been added to our dinner delivery app and decided to give it a try. I thought I ordered a chicken parm, a spaghetti & meatball, and a 12ā pizza. What I actually ordered was a chicken parm, a cheese pizza, and a CATERING SIZE spaghetti & meatballs! š In my multitasking expertise, I didnāt even pay attention to the total, I just hit order. Aaaannnnndddddā¦.. I now have a HUGE container of spaghetti & meatballs. (Which is delicious, by the way!) The best part of the entire situation was how the driver, TJ, handled the whole situation. Vocelli fulfills their own delivery orders, even though the big name apps. When TJ arrived, he was SO nice in explaining to me how the order went through, and how in the future I can call them and could have saved myself TONS of money, even if I HAD intended to order such a gigantic dish of pasta! I just laughed. And laughed. And Iām still laughing!! The good news is that we have teenagers!! I promise no one is mad over a gigantic pan of delicious spaghetti! Turns out, we live approximately a half mile outside their delivery area, but they will happily make the exception and deliver to us all while saving us $$$!!! The other happy part of this is knowing now that we CAN order catering size pastas!! Holidays are here, college kids and friends will be filling our home and theyāre all going to be hungry!! Next time we order we will order the catering size INTENTIONALLY!!
We are extremely pleased with the service provided by Vocelli and specifically by TJ. We will ABSOLUTELY be loyal customers from here on out!! Now I know I can just call them directly!! (And get giant pans of pasta if I want to!!)

Local management is unable to deviate from norms due to not having the nads to go against upper management to accommodate a group other than sending them outside. Too bad for then. That is how you start alienating customers. Food is adequate, and service is mechanized ( servers throw down the food and walk away). I advise if you have a group. Go elsewhere. Your only consideration is to go outside even if it is a small group. I've known of this chain from PA. I never had this type of treatment there. Must be local mgt. in having the inability to make command decisions. When you start the response with, we can't, or we don't without knowing any particulars. Failure is eminent during slow times. So, I can confirm that Raphael's or the new place Cesario's. Maybe a bit further like Alleia's, Community Pie, Mellow Mushroom, or Fiamma pizza company. All these other locations would have no problem understanding true CUSTOMER SERVICE. Even though it may deviate from your norm. BTW, three are disabled and would need the accommodations that we asked for. But you were unable to listen, just bust out rules. Maybe you're new at this...

Tonight was no exception. I placed a delivery order using the app. When I clicked pay, it said my card was declined. I checked my account to make sure I had enough money to cover it & I did. My card had been charged even though my order didnāt go through. I frustratedly called the restaurant and spoke with Dan. Dan searched everywhere for my order and it couldnāt be found. I was upset because I was out almost $30 and dinner. Most likely this was a bank issue but who knows. Dan made sure my order was fulfilled and had a very nice delivery driver, Bruce, bring it to me pronto. They completely saved the day! I called Dan back to let him know Iād be coming back when I had cash to give Bruce a big tip. Dan insured me that he tipped Bruce generously, and that was very well deserved.
