The bread & dipping oil was wonderful, but only because the bread was warm. I had taken some bread home and warned it in the oven the next day, but it got hard & tasted old.
The pasta items were not worth the money. We tried the lasagna, shrimp alfredo, manicotti, & fettuccine alfredo. My husband was extremely disappointed and left hungry. He said it was a if something in the lasagna sauce was soaked for a week in vinegar. It took everything in him not to spit it out. This is coming from a guy who loves pickled things in a jar!
I got the cannolli and the tiramisu. Tiramisu is by far my favorite desert EVER and would be a last request in prison... but not from here. The tiramisu was just ok. It was 'fluffy' and plain. The cannoli cream was runny. Buddy Valastro & Gordon Ramsey would be so disappointed.
The decor is minimal. The place was like eating in a sauna.
The waitress was sweet and very personable. She was by far the best feature of the place.
As someone whose family is Sicilian, this is not what I had hoped for in an Italian restaurant. Olive Garden (gasp) would've...
Read moreMy visit this Saturday was very disappointing. My stomach was a bit uneasy so I thought a heavy pasta dish would calm it. I ordered spaghetti bolognese with grilled Italian sausages (2) on the side. I received a huge brim to brim bowl of creamy Vodka sauce like soup with a few strands of spaghetti in the center completely immersed in the orange soupy liquid. A very small portion of sausage had been sliced and was swimming in the bowl trying to find the pasta. There was no meat (Bolognese). I tried a few bites but it tasted sour. I had the server take the dish and asked for a portion of spaghetti tossed with butter, a little olive oil and parmesan cheese still needing to calm my stomach. I was served a huge bowl of spaghetti swimming in olive oil and tossed with the restaurant's allocation of garlic for the rest of the year. It too was inedible. The man at the next table received a nice bowl meaty red Bolognese sauce over a generous portion of spaghetti. At least the bread was good. I went next door and ordered a small meat lovers pizza and a beer for...
Read moreThis place is absolutely one of the best Italian places I've ever ate at! Me and my husband went for our 5 year anniversary and it was the first time there and the staff was so welcoming and on top of everything and made sure we got everything on time. We had the Stella Moscato which is amazing we bought it by the bottle. They serve amazing bread rolls with knots in them with a delicious olive oil with seasonings in it to dip in, you will love it. We then had a Caesar salad which was super yummy it is a sweeter Caesar dressing and I loved it! We proceeded to get bruschetta which also once again is amazing LOL then I had the Chicken Calabrese and my husband had the Chicken Cacciatore. They both were so amazing we literally had enough food to eat 2 times from it. We talked about this place for hours and hours that evening after we ate there we enjoyed it so much and had such a wonderful time. It is definitely a place you will eat and say wow that food was amazing! My photos do the food no justice, it...
