Donut Palace — Restaurant in Fort Smith

I visited here This morning around 9:30 so I don't think I got to see all they offered but from what I was presented I loved it. As I walked in with my wife and kid we were greeted with smiles. The menu is very simple but don't let it's simplicity trick you, they have all kinds of breakfast sandwiches, donuts and other breakfast items. The environment is really....fun. It's colored nicely and feels, I don't know, legit? I've been in a lot of donut shops and even worked in a bakery for while and there's just something that sets a good donut shops apart from the mediocre ones. Anyway my only complaint is that I'd like to see more variety of donuts but like I said I was there later in the morning and they opened at 5am so I'm sure I probably missdled the real good stuff. Donuts I had were nice and fluffy and almost melted in your mouth. I highly recommend this...

Love it here. The minute I walk in I can smell the freshness of the donuts & they're always so good. Kolaches are my favorite & I can tell they're not some frozen product thats been shipped then slapped on a baking sheet. Also, if your talking about the lady that's always wearing a bandana as a headband, "trying to look gangsta", maybe next time you should ask instead of assume she's trying to look a certain way. Donuts ok. Not great not terrible. The old fashioned is best. The plain yeast glazed too sweet. Kolache are meh the small ones. The larger slightly better. The Bourdain one is interesting but not my taste. I was really hoping I would like the apple fritter but it really doesn't have much of an apple flavor or apple chunks in it. Sadly. The blueberry donut is decent in terms of actual blueberry flavor. Have visited this ship as well the Van Buren. The one in Fort Smith better.
