Tequila Mexican Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Fort Smith

Edit: its unfortunate that I had to retract my previous review. We ordered a family meal to go. I specifically asked for more chips and stated we were only given two bags last time we ordered. When I come in, the gentleman who is ALWAYS up beat and extra nice greeted me. The girl at the register cashed me out and I specifically AGAIN asked her if there were extra chips, the manager held the door for me, and on my way I went. I get home and to my surprise, I'm missing a kids meal and only have two bags of chips. I call and the girl who cashed me out then tells me that the taco I'm missing is in foil and she gave me bigger bags of chips..... first off, if I wasn't missing the taco, I would not waste my time to call and say I was. Second off, these bags are the same size we always get with the family meals and its not enough for four people. She then says verbatim, "I dont know if you're the woman who picked up the food, but I showed her the chips, and she said they were fine." I AM the woman who picked up the food, and you didn't show me anything. THAT RIGHT THERE has ended our eating at this place. I can not stand a liar. When I confronted her and told her she just lied and that she was continuing to argue with me over a taco and chips, she took it further to continuosly talk over me and repeatedly say that she wasn't arguing with me. I hope that her manager sees this, and I hope he knows how much we have appreciated his upbeat attitude and extra attention. I hope he sees that she obviously needs to be doing something else other than representing his front end because this is NOT how that should have went. Previous review that still stands besides when something gets messed up and she answers the phone: Everyone was very upbeat and super nice when we walked in! The food is amazing AND the salsa is bomb. Most of the time, at other places, they either have good food and bad salsa or amazing salsa and the food isn't great. THEY GET IT RIGHT BOTH TIMES. And they have fanily neals that are very affordable and a 32 oz to go cheese dip!!!!!!! The restaurant is decorated very well! Unique and busy but very tasteful. 100 put of 100...

Bring back juans because The food seems to be made very cheap The steak is over cooked dry with no seasoning and the green salsa tast like salty tomatoes some how only thing seasoning the meat in a burrito seems to only be the sauce that comes on it and the ground beef tast like its been setting in a metal pan way to long and the white cheese sauce tast like the spray cheese in the can They need more flavor ,better tasting salsa ,cook the steak less dry and add more seasoning or butter Price needs adjusted or quality needs to Amp up but so far the food trucks around town have better tast for better price Any one that has eaten at any other Mexican restraunt in fortsmith will understand the quality im speaking on it seems that people are making good none honest reviews due to it being a cheaper place to eat but mexican food should be full of flavor Eloritos on Lexington would be a cheap and more flavored place people are to nice but there game needs to step up im sorry to the guy in the reviews that the lady was rude to I would have never showed back up to retrieve a taco from this place take my lost and...

I love the food here! I did not give a 5 star because of your to-go issues. I’ve ordered 3 times for pick up. Every time you forget some things. It’s super inconvenient to either go without or have to go back. Today an item was forgotten and the lady took no responsibility instead said it was our fault because I send my son to pick up and he doesn’t know what I order to verify if it’s correct but the item forgotten is something it should have just came with not an add on. She did give him a free cheese dip to redeem for next time but it still rubs me wrong that 3 separate times I’ve been inconvenienced and this time blamed for said inconvenience instead of just given an apology and them taking accountability. But at the end of the day I love this place and the food is amazing. I will still continue to go but...
