I drove through Fort Stockton TX at 9:10pm and stopped at the Taco Bell for dinner. When I pulled into Taco Bell at 9:15 I noticed the inside store was closed so decided to go through the drive through. There was a vehicle in front of me that was waiting a 5 minute to order when no other person was in front of them. When I ordered the worker was having a hard time with managing my simple order due to conversating with other employees inside, the fact I could hear the conversation from the loud speaker he was talking through (very unprofessional). When I pulled up to the window to pay for my order there was 2 other vehicles parked in front and to the side of the window waiting for their order which made it hard to pull up and un safe for any other traffic. After paying for my meal the cashier instructed me to pull up to the other vehicles and wait for my food which I did. Now there are 3 vehicles waiting for their order and no other person was in the drive through or inside. I noticed 3 employees of taco bell walk outside in front of me and start rummaging through their cars. While they were out at their cars a stray cat walked up to them, which they picked up and started petting it. The worker inside came out and gave an order of food to a vehicle ahead of me which was quickly declined by the driver due to it being completely incorrect, which I could hear the driver complaining about since I had my windows down waiting for my order. I asked the worker when he approached my vehicle attempting to go back into the store about my order and why we were waiting such a long time he stated “we have a lot of orders to get to”, when there was only 3 people total waiting for orders. I noticed the other workers were taking the stray cat to the window of taco bell and letting it inside while all the workers pet it. This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. My food was completely disgusting and watching all of the employees quit what they were doing to pet a stray cat through the service window and then go back to work is to my opinion disgusting worthy of reporting to the...
Read moreHere's my experience from tonight. Pull up to drive thru, see one car in front of me at the window. I sit there for five minutes and no one has said a word to me. I was like okay I get it, one of those nights, been there. But then the car receives his food and leaves and still waiting here at this point like 8 minutes ungreeted before I finally get a "hello?" And I say give them my mobile order. Pull up to the window ungreeted for about 3 minutes before a young girl opens the window briefly and hands me my stuff. I noticed the drink was the wrong size, pulled over to the side to check my food and it's like the completely wrong order! So I attempt to go inside to resolve the issue and all the doors are locked, not a single person in there. Okay so I hop back in the drive thru line and sit there, for I shit you not, 10 minutes and no one says a word to me. I then pull up to the window and sit for a other 5 minutes, at this point more pissed off than anything. A young boy then finally comes to the window. He says "what do you need?" I tell him my order was wrong I'd like to get my correct order. "Uhhhhh were going through shift change right now so if you could uhhh come back in 30 minutes" mind you it's 8:10pm. Boy I ain't stupid. I then proceed to give him choice words and leave. I'm not hard to please and even harder to piss off. But like damn, do better for real. Done wasted 40 minutes of my life and I still didn't even get my...
Read moreI stopped at the Taco Bell in Fort Stockton while driving through West Texas and placed my order online about 20 minutes before arriving. When I got there, my order was not ready, and the staff said they would “get started on it.”
Roughly 20 minutes later, they asked what I was waiting for, and when I said my online order, they initially told me there was no record of it. Only after I showed proof on my phone did they locate it. Another 40 minutes went by with no update, and when I asked again, I was told that “other people were ahead of me.”
During that time, I watched several customers walk in, place their orders at the counter or kiosk, and receive their food well before me. Multiple drive-thru customers were also served ahead of my order. Despite this, the employees showed no sense of urgency or concern. Their responses were dismissive and unhelpful.
In total, I was seated in the dining area for two and a half hours before finally receiving my food. There appeared to be only three employees working — one aimlessly sweeping while the others worked slowly and without coordination.
This was one of the most disappointing fast-food experiences I’ve ever had. The staff seemed indifferent, the process was entirely disorganized, and there was no accountability for the delay. I hope management takes a serious look at the training and leadership at this location — no customer should ever wait over two hours for a simple...
