Dariland — Restaurant in Fort Sumner

Well I wouldn’t even give it one star but I had to in order to comment. My family and I were traveling through and stopped for a bite to eat. We were ordering take out and we were fixing to pay as the phone rang. An employee that was taking an order came to us and said - “sorry but it’s going to be a bit before y’all get your food. We just had a bus call and are yelling at us because they are on their way”. My reaction - So you can’t make our 4 burgers first since we ordered and are here? Her response “ No I’m sorry they are yelling”. Apparently my money is not as good as theirs. Don’t stop. Keep going down the street to allsups and grab a burrito — you will be better...

This restaurant is very well kept and offers great service and food. I stopped here with my family and we all got food wet like and thought was pretty good. The hamburgers are a bit pricey but if you get double or triple it can really stretch the burger if sharing with kids. I got the patty melt which was delicious and very filling. My kids had hamburgers and hot dogs and my wife had a bean burrito. Caution about the green chilies, they have some kick so if you don't like spice say no green chilies. Just went through the drive through and ordered 3 cheeseburgers and 3 orders of curly fries. I really wanted this place to be good. We are so disappointed. We were passing through if not I would go and ask for a refund. The burgers are so dry and crunchy and smell like lard. They were bland, the seasoned curly fries had no flavor and were also overcooked. We couldn’t finish our food. The lady who took our order was pleasant and nice so...
