I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time. Girls were hungry but did not know what the wanted to eat. I decided on Lost. We drove across town. I wasn't sure about the location. I was concerned because every time we go by the North Pensacola location there is no place to park it is so full. We found the place and there was ample parking for my oversized truck. We did a quick search to see if we wanted something else. We narrowed the choices to three. One place was closed and the other place was super expensive. My youngest said, this was first choice, every time we change ideas on the fly, we regret it. We walked in, it is an order from the board at the counter. Which is not a favorite of mine but who am I to question a business model. My youngest ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which came with a side salad. My oldest got the three piece tamales. I got the Mr G Sandwich which came with a side salad. The salad was pretty big. I also ordered a medium pepperoni pizza for the table. The salads came out pretty quick. The dressing cups are large so there is enough to cover the entire salad but not turn it into soup. The spaghetti and the tamales and the pizza came out next and the sandwich came out shortly afterwards. The tamales were small but my daughter said they were really good. The sauce they were in had enough heat for flavor but not leave the mouth burning. She said next time she will get a larger order. The spaghettiand meatballs looked good and possibly something I would like to try on a future visit. My daughter ate about half and took rest home. She also had a slice of pizza and half a salad. The pizza is amazing. We got the thick crust. I took a bite of the sandwich. It was ok but at that moment I just wanted the pizza. I took the sandwich home for work the next day. The wait times from when ordered to when they bring out is good. Being the first time there if we had a sit down order with a server we would have ordered a few more items to try but didn't want to go up and order at the counter again. We would have gotten appetizers and possibly desserts. First time there trying to order from a board especially when someone is behind waiting. As time goes on and we find our favorites it won't be a big of a deal for me. Price was average to maybe lower than everyone else. It wasn't much more than if we went to a fast food joint. It was probably more than half if we went to the other...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy coworkers rave about the food, so I decided to check it out. The first thing I notice is that the prices online are not the same as the ones in the restaurant. I proceeded to order anyway. Initially, the young ladies at the counter were nice. I placed my order & as I was finishing my payment, the screen disappeared. I was questioning the young lady as to why my total was $5 more than what I saw on the screen. She told me there was a processing fee for using my card, but as I walked away, I saw that a tip was added on & there was no processing fee. So I walk back up to the counter & explain to a different young lady what happened. She proceeds to tell me that they can not change my choice & I'm telling her that I specifically hit no tip, but I was charged one anyway. So I asked for the manager & the young lady keeps talking & saying they can't fix my choice. She might as well have called me a liar because that's what it really boiled down to. The whole time she was talking to me, she kept calling me mama, something I noticed she was calling some of the other women. I found it a little offensive, especially since I had no kids with me. I personally dont have kids & I know mothers who have lost a child or women that can't have them. Either way, it's not cool to assume. The manager finally comes over & tells me she can fix it. The whole time the manager is helping me, the young lady continues to talk & be rude. Not once did the manager reprimand or tell her to be quiet. By that end of the transaction, I'm frustrated & don't want to sit in the restaurant to wait for my food. I kept going over what happened in my head & I realize the young lady was hitting buttons on her side as I was picking the no tip, which would explain why the screen disappeared as I was signing my name. I hope this isn't a normal practice as it is very dishonest & insulting to someone's intelligence. I will give them props on the food, though. Everything I ordered was good. (I had an appetizer, pizza, & pasta) I hate that this location is the closest to my home (literally 5 minutes away) as I would love to eat there again but I won't patronize this location again. Great food & crappy customer service are not a good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pizza was good, the spinach and artichoke dip was not. The service, which was limited, being a walk up counter, was ok. It was the first time going there since we are located in the Nvill/Valp area. I didnt know it was a walk up and order/seat yourself place until walking in, which is not a big deal. However, the other patrons seemed to have trouble seating themselves. The table layout in the back room was not set up as optimally as it could. There was a larger group of 10 who took up 2 tables, pushed them together and instead of taking the seat against the wall, the gentleman grabbed the seat that was perpendicular to our table. So I could barely get into the table and had to sit against the wall. He was oblivious to it all. On the other side was a table of 3 at a 4 seater. For some reason, the child sat in the aisle, and her stuffed animal sat in the regular seat. They too were oblivious that we were being crammed from both sides. Another larger group of 8 then sat at the tables in the middle row of the room. They decided to put the largest person of their group in the aisle, instead of one of the 3 children they had. We were now squeezed in on 3 sides, with the 4th being the wall. To add to the discomfort, it was about 80ā° in the place. We had already ordered paid, and sat down, so leaving was no longer an option. To top it off, I drink water, and instead of providing me with a regular size cup, I was given a small white styrofoam cup, which I had to get up and refill at least 7 times while fighting through the obstacles throughout the aisles. Without a host seating the customers, customers are left to make decisions that best suit them and not the others around them. The temperature and the lack of space made the experience very unenjoyable. I will probably not return unless maybe in the winter time if it is going to be that hot while eating a hot pizza. I live too far to pick up, so that is another reason to doubt me returning. The front room seemed to be a bit cooler, except by the bar, which had a window and the sun beating on it. I was surprised people were comfortably...
