First off, I'll fully disclose that I come from a land where pizza is topped with clams and crab sticks, pork floss with hard boiled eggs, or slices of rare steak with arugula and burrata cheese. And just in case you thought I only frequent posh experimental pizzerias, I was describing Pizza Hut and Domino's. If you found that disgusting, you don't have to agree with my palate. If you, perchance, found my interest in pizza intriguing, let it be known that I fully approve of what áRoma had to offer. I mean, $1 for multiple steaks of anchovy? Yes please. And for the love of everything holy, get the extra cheese. I also approve of their salad offerings, which by all accounts is just their delectable pizza toppings with less dough and more grass. Deliciousness with far less carbohydrates involved, provided you can force yourself to digest veggies. Their rolls and wings however are a sad story. Except for the Ossian ham and cheese grinder. It's their only good bread, and it's a very good bread. The cheese felt light and the ham was flavorful. Can't discuss their COVID policies, since I've only ever ordered pizza the right way: Drove to my door by unpaid interns. But other Googlers have discussed it at length, so do take caution if you are skeptical.

Ordered carry out here today. I've been on a kick of trying local pizza places. We ordered a medium cheese pizza, and a large pepperoni pizza. They were extremely fast and friendly. The interior decor makes it definitely feel like an authentic pizza place. Okay, on to the pizzas. First of all, this place seems to be very enthusiastic about whatever the pizza is supposed to be like. For instance, the cheese pizza, TONs of cheese, you guessed it, the pepperoni pizza? TONs of pepperoni. On to the pies. Pepperoni: 6.9/10 Good pizza. LOTS of pepperoni. Almost too much? Crust is absolutely perfect, light but toasted well. Sauce is amazing, tangy and liberally applied, cheese is barely there, but because there's so many pepperoni. Because of the pepperoni covering its very greasy pizza. Cheese: Best cheese pizza I've had hands down. 9.2/10. SO much cheese. The downside is it's a little greasy because of that, but the same toastie crust, delicious sauce that's liberally applied and a bunch of fresh cheese. I highly recommend the cheese pizza.

Not much of a sit-down pizza joint, but they did have enough seating for two small families. We ordered our pizzas to go. When we got home, I was disappointed that I could hardly distinguish what toppings were actually on the pizzas, as you can tell from the photos (everything covered in cheese). As my family ate the pizzas, we were definitely able to tell which toppings were on which pizza. The flavors did NOT disappoint. The Everthing Pizza was full of delicious pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions (we passed on the green olives). The German Pizza was surprisingly delicious with its homemade ground sausage and sauerkraut. The BBQ chicken pizza was superb with just the right amount of red onions and bacon to accentuate the flavor palate. We can see why a'Roma was voted Best Pizza in Fort Wayne for 3 years on a row (2019-2021). The service was a little rough around the edges, but as far as to go is concerned, it was easily overlooked. You should definitely give this place a try.

This is the second time I ordered pizza from here. The first time the food was outstanding. Today April 1, 2019 April fool's joke on me. I ordered an original pepperoni pizza that should have had fresh mozzarella on it. There was not one piece of cheese on the pizza and the crust was so thin the pepperoni was iiterally attached by sauce and other pepperoni. Half the pizza was literally without crust. The kid and I say smart mouthed kid who answered the phone was only capable of saying YUP and that was it. He couldn't even describe the pizza itself. He also lacked so much attention he failed to hear my phone number had an area code from another state and wanted to reinput my information into the computer after I asked him if he had the area code right his answer was yup! Still incorrect. I paid 15 dollars for 8 slices of garbage. Thanks but no thanks I'll spend my money at little ceasars for 5 bucks and get good quality food without the hassle and for a quarter of the price. Like 5 bucks. Get it together A'Roma your business is to new to have such pathetic service and staff that could care less about your food or the quality of food...
