Burger King — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Waited 27 minutes for food during a non -busy lunch (12:15ish) there were 6 people on staff and never more than 3 or 4 others in the store besides us. The drive thru wasn't busy either. They forgot to put down our onion rings after HEATING IN THE MICROWAVE our sandwiches! When we questioned why 25 minutes had passed with powder food, we were told by the manager that the young man behind the counter must have forgotten! No apologies no attempts to remake our again microwave sandwiches, we watch them throw them in the microwave which is against Burger King policy! We waited another two minutes for our onion rings and where served the sandwiches that had been heated 25 minutes prior, so they were disgustingly cold! They are minutes away from several other fast food joints, so there are plenty of other choices around and now I get why they were never busy during a lunch rush! Having worked in fast food before, I know that times get busy and things happen and mistakes happen, but we were not treated at all well, in fact the manager rolled her eyes at us when my friend politely asked if she may have a new sandwich since hers was still cold in the center. She was not given another sandwich, instead told that she would have to pay for it, so she opted against it! I make it a habit of being very kind to people who make my food, and those in the service industry because as I mentioned before I am a former fast food employee, granted it was in my youth, but those lessons always stood with me and therefore I can say without hesitation that I was very polite and was treated very poorly for no reason! There was no toilet paper in bathroom (first impression), messy diner room, no ice in the drink machine, the employees were cursing at each other- the manager didnt even HELP her team while they were backed up on orders. Also, while I was waiting for my order, a little girl asked to buy a side of marinara- the girl waited 5 minutes for a cup of sauce! She only got it because another worker asked her what she needed. The worker then asked the man bagging if he got it yet to which he replies "oh I forgot" Whoever the owner of this franchise is...is embarrassing the company. A girl asked for nuggets for her drive thru order and the guy in the back started to threaten her??? What?? I worked in fast food and have never written or survey or bad review. Things happen, but this location is beyond disappointing. Not to mention the cooks were mouthing off to people trying to order saying "Man, I aint a servant" well yeah...you actually are and you CHOSE to have this job. Hire for TALENT and communicate with your team. People in the front and back need to communicate with each other and a GOOD manager will be there for her team. Its a shame because the store looks brand new from the outside. We got home and I didn't even get the right sandwich... I will never go back to this location. On my way to work this morning I sought to stop for a quick breakfast. Upon arrival to the front door- I observed operation hours stating dinning room open at 6am. Now, the time was approx 6:43am (EST) which would mean the establishment was currently open. However, after trying to open the doors(First, North door [facing Petit]-Then the Southern door which opens toward the parking lot shared by many of the South Gate shopping center businesses)The doors were locked. No problem though I noticed a BK Employee to my left of the Southern facing door. This employee before my getting a word out told me I wasn't allowed at her store because she had observed me stumble apparently? Which to her meant I was under the influence in some way. I have not consumed one single intoxicant. I wasn't close enough for her to smell me, I do not recall the stumble in question, and she hadn't allowed me to speak at all to even make any sort of determination on my state of sobriety. At this point I believe this woman either has some sort of a bias against me, and/or she simply doesn't want to work. I am going to try to enter now as it is 7:30am (EST) in the hope I encounter a different employee. I really just want to grab food before catching the bus.
