I ordered for pick up for one pizza. When I arrived the door to the place was open, I get it pizza places might be hot and they needed some cool air going through, it was 41 degrees outside so I’m sure it helped.
However what else was cool was my pizza.
I don’t normally order pizza and Marcos is my favorite so I was very excited.
I saw on the app that my order was ready and went to go pick it up.
I paid for it and stood there for 10 minutes waiting for what I thought was my pizza and was asked if I had been helped yet and said I thought I was waiting for my pizza.
The second time (after someone else came in to get theirs) I was asked I said I was still waiting for my pizza and the app said it was done.
My pizza was cold when I had a bite of it in the car.
Very disappointed that I was not even offered an apology for the wait when it had obviously been done and ready the whole time...
Read moreThe pizza at Marco's is really good, but the management is terrible. We placed an order online that was supposed to be delivered no later than 7:05P. At 7:15 the pizza still hadn't arrived, so we logged in online and went to the "follow my order" service to track our order. We received and error message instead of an order status. Exausting all other options, I then called to check the status of our order.
The phone was answered by the "manager", Angie. I was immediately put on hold, before I could get one word in. I waited on hold for 5 minutes before hanging up. I then called back and asked Angie to please not put me on hold. Angie frantically blurted out that she had pizzas in the oven, and then set the phone receiver down.
I then listened as Angie hastily put another caller on hold. I then hung up the phone and decided we wouldn't be ordering from Marco's again. A few minutes later our pizza was delivered. I didn't mention anything about the manager's poor customer service, and tipped the driver the usual 20%. I simply refuse to deal with...
Read moreUpdate I ended up going back because a client of mine wanted food from this specific spot. I remember liking their cheesy bread back in the day and since I was going to place an order anyways, I added a cheesy bread onto it for myself. Even though it looked understaffed like normal, the service was quick and courteous. The food was fantastic, definitely better than I remember it. My client's pizza looked excellent and was made very well and my cheesy bread was great. My client and I both really enjoyed our food and we have already gone back again since then. Same good service and excellent food quality.
Decent food at a cheap price with the right coupon. My big gripe is that all the dough is frozen making all the bread sticks and pizza chewy and sub par. Papa John's dough and some of Pizza Hut's dough are night and day better than Marco's. This location in particular has poor service as well.
