Restaurant review This is a restaurant review from the parking lot. I don't know how good the pizza is because I'm still waiting. I don't understand how the ordering system can be so broken. I placed an order at 5 PM and it indicated an hour and a half before It would be ready. I understand with the Covid pandemic social distancing needs to be done. I waited for about half hour outside trying to get into the restaurant. I finally got to the counter 30 minutes after the time that my pizza should've been done. That is over 1 hr in line. It's currently 7 o'clock at night and they still handed me a number and told me my pizza would be another 15 minutes. I don't even think they started my pizza based on the interactions with the wait staff. I'll update with the final time when I finally get the pizza. Update: so after waiting 25 minutes my wife told me to go ask someone that came out if the pizza was done. They finally got it to me and leaving the parking lot at 7:30pm. The deep dish pizza was very heavy on toppings which is good. Cheese is not oily and stuffed toppings in a supreme were not super watery which is good. The bad was the pizza dough was undercooked in multiple places.

If you love pizza, or want the best pizza in the Fort Wayne area, Oley's Pizza is you place! Oley's Pizza is by far some of the best pizza we have ever had! While their deep dish is very much like Chicago Style, you do not have the Chicago Style wait! Being a small place, we didn't have high expectations for their cocktails. But let me tell you, their cocktails are on point! Their old fashioned was excellent! The burned brown sugar on the orange slice is a really great look, taste, and aroma! The house salad was excellent, and we all enjoyed the house dressing. It is like Italian dressing with some unexpected sweetness! It's a definite must have. Pizza: we had the Oley's deluxe and made some substitutions which was absolutely no problem. Our friend got the Italian beef sub, and it was also phenomenal! They also got the margarita pizza, and as you can see in our pictures they are not shy with the basil! In conclusion, would we drive 2 hours from Detroit for this pizza? YES!! Would we recommend Oley's Pizza? HECK YES You need Oley's Pizza in you life. Do whatever you can to try it!

I found out about Oley's pizza way back in the 1980's. A friend suggested it, said, "You'll never believe this pizza". Holy guacamole, was he right! Now, every time I get to this burg a stop at Oley's is required! Not an option, don't care what you're hungry for. I'm a little saddened to see they're down to just two locations, there used to be four and this is one I've never been to. Don't walk through the door too fast, you'll end up on the line making pies. At least you can watch the magic happening while you wait the world's slowest 30 minutes which is how long it takes make a double crust pizza (call ahead!). It is sooooo worth it. Or wait in your car, they'll bring it to you. Wait in the bar and remember not to drink or your pizza will get cold while you sober up. The family room and bar look like they haven't been updated since they opened this location in 1990. All those wafer-thin New York style pizza fans have no idea what they are missing. If you don't need a ruler to measure your pizza's thickness, it's just a frisbee and should be thrown as far as it'll go.

We just moved to the area and everyone said this was the best pizza, not just around here, but anywhere. We called to place an order and we ordered 2 large pizzas, a salad and garlic knots, we were told 45 minutes to an hour for pick up. Then she told me the total for my order and I about passed out- 65 dollars. But, we were feeding people who helped and we just needed to get it to the house so I said ok. When I got there the parking lot was crazy busy, the line was out the door, people were being dropped off at the door to wait and nobody was upset or frustrated- it was a odd to be honest and I thought about leaving. I walked up to the door after I finally found a spot to park and everyone was so nice, we were all carry out customers and they explained that you need to order then show up 30 minutes before your order will be ready. Some of the people had me go in front of them because they had ordered after me. They were all more than happy to wait, thus the no complaining or frustration and they all just stood around enjoying the company like they knew each other. This is the real deal! There was fresh sauce in huge bowls being made, fresh veggies, made from scratch dough, big staff that were all doing whatever job needed to be done at that moment and at least 50 pizzas waiting to go into the ovens. We were customer 113 of the day and there were tickets with much higher numbers. Great food, the house salad dressing was amazing and next time I'll be trying the Chicago deep dish for sure (be ready to pay about 10 dollars more per pizza though). This place is a keeper and somewhere I'd take family and friends who visit from...

Visited the Fort Wayne Zoo and we were looking for somewhere to eat along the way back home (2 hours away) and on a whim, my girlfriend searched up pizza along the route home and found Oley’s.

What a wonderful place, very inviting and appreciative staff. It felt local, very local. Once I seen the hard work in the kitchen and the staff dedicating themselves in a very warm environment I knew this may be something special.

Onto the food. Freaking amazing. For a party of 7 had a little bit of everything. The Soprano pizza was crazy good. Sister loved the spaghetti with the giant I’m assuming homemade meatballs. Another loving the lasagna and the super sub was going crazy (as I was told). With both appetizers hitting the spot with the garlic knots and garlic cheese bread. I can’t give enough props to this place. I’ve had many pizzas, many places and this by far was one that earned my love.

Here for the downside, while the food was great and sweet tea was amazing. The service kind of felt “as is” only because it just felt refills were hard to get and being in the dining area you would only catch the waitresses just peeking around the corner and then vanishing. (Witnessed throughout the entire visit). However some random waitress towards the end took over and kind of sped up the process of us checking out and helping us get boxes and to go cups and helping us get out of there which helped greatly.

Overall great place. Great food. If you’re in the area of Fort Wayne. Definitely a place to check out and enjoy. The atmosphere is 10/10 from the moment...

This is one place we always look foward going too as a family and Normally from my other reviews it's always great but tonight was worst experience I've had service wise and really wasn't that busy as well... took 10-15min for drink order which understandable im not picking at that but by that point we were ready for food as well so we ordered but once the food came the service stopped food was great but waitress was too busy sitting and talking rather than seeing if we needed anything else waited on Refills multiple times than my daughter was trying as for a refil but she was too in a hurry too go back and sit I get it if was busy and also understand the days get long I'm in food myself but we stopped eating cause we were thirsty and kids were getting tired so at this point finally took one of our signals and came over asked if we want food and bixed and said yeah we were trying still eat but at this point yes cause kids are tired and we haven't had drinks she says sorry then another waitress comes and asks if we need drinks they bring our food boxed and drinks and drop bill and never came back so luckily I had cash and took our card out and left exact cash cause at this point I was just upset... mind you we've been coming here for years now and I been going since a kid I can understand if was busy but it wasn't and that's what gets me... we will be going elsewhere for a while...
