Pizza King — Restaurant in Fort Wayne

Very disappointed, and was told no soup deliveries. He did in fact have pizza and sheet pizza.. and cookies. But no soup! When making this call he was super helpful in telling me some other locations that I and my family can go to that might serve the delicious soup that we desire to keep our family together. My grandma only eats soup, so now with a pregnant aunt, she is craving Pizza King soup. I don't know how much longer we can hold her back, it is the foundation of our family. From the ages of fetus-Kindergarten, it is tradition to only have soup served to us from the King. It dates back centuries, with my great great great great great.... great grandma, who was pregnant at the time, only had a bowl of soup to live off of before the next shipment of food. This soup lasted her a month and a half. The day she ran out her daughter was born into this soup-full world. When the food shipment came into the market that very day, the baby wouldn't stop crying. Her mother would feed her grapes, she whacked the grapes, bananas, berries, anything. Then she tried pouring a cup of soup, cooling it off, and giving it to the baby. She ate! The baby ate. She would forever be named Souphia, Soup for short. When Souphia grew up she also began cravings for soup while pregnant. Hearing about this miracle baby the King came down on one of the shipments to see Souphia, giving her soup suited for the King. As soon as she took a sip of the soup she went into labor and had a child. His name was Soupkin(g)! This trend went on and on, becoming our identity. We are the Soup family. We need soup to survive. We eat regular food, but when someone is pregnant, Soup is all we can have. Soup served by the King. It is our legacy, our tradition, our culture. Do not deprive us of soup my King of Pizzas. My Aunt is overdue and hasn't eaten for the past week because no King is providing. The only way my Aunt can have this baby is with your soup! Give our people...

I wish I had better things to say about this pizza. I tried it based on a few recommendations from some friends and coworkers. I called and placed the order and the guy over the phone wasn't all that friendly, but wasn't rude either. Said the pizza would be done in 20 minutes and it was. Upon arriving I was surprised to see it attached to a gas station, but it wasn't trashy inside or outside.

Okay, on to the pizza. Ordered a large cheese pizza, thin crust well done. First point I'd like to make, I've had 5 different pizza places over the course of this week. This pizza was the most expensive one at $18 after tax, all the others were much cheaper. Okay, on to the critique. The crust was much thicker than I would like for a thin, but for what it is, it was ok, definitely not great though. The sauce lacked flavor, was lightly applied, tasted cheap and not fresh. The cheese didn't compliment it well either, as it lacked in several areas of the pie. They also do not come in a box, just a cardboard "plate" and a paper bag. Well I wasn't gonna post until I gave them a second chance to get the 5 star's I wanted to give being a 30 year Pizza King fan. But I called & spoke with Jason the manager & attempted to enlighten him in detail on error's made. He wasn't much interested other then giving me 20% off my next pizza... I ordered a 16" Pepperoni Feast add mushrooms. Biggest problem was pizza wasn't cut just scored. Attempting to pull apart didn't work too well. Secondly the topping's weren't distributed. Being cubed pepperoni & a feast you'd expect many pieces on every piece. Specially when ya spend $30. You can see on the left side there wasn't even cheese coverage just sauce. Since the owner responded to other review. Which I would dispute with Google & have removed. Maybe he'll be able to aid. As I hope this 1 thrives not just Another Ft Wayne spot that comes then goes as so many have here. I'll post next pie with details!

Well it took 6 pizza's before I got 1 correct! But THANKFULLY Seems they finally got it!! My last 2 were correctly made & actually cut & not just scored where your left to tear apart a $30 pie. Thanks for finally getting...
