Lisa's Chicken — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Up to now, and for the past several years, Lisa's has been our "go to place" for fried Chicken, & Chicken Livers. This time I've got to say We were disappointed. I'm not gonna let one misadventure, incidental, as it were, ruin a good thing. But, the fact remains, the order was over cooked, some cold & some hot. And, yes crispy is cool, but to the point of being a tooth wrecker, the only thing harder would have been diamonds. Leading me to assume (having extensive industrial cooking experience) is the possibility of reheated leftovers. & that don't work w/Chicken Livers. If it happens again, i won't be comming back. Horrible place. Worst Lisa's chicken branch ever, these people do not honor their own combo deals, I ordred two combos which state on their board that comes with 2 sides and a drink each. They argued that fact. I pointed to the sign and they still argued,the food was ok as far as Lisa's goes, no complaints there but yhe service was trash trying to squeeze every cent out of customers is pretty pathetic. This site is also a semi liquor store with one register for all customers including drive thru. So if you're stopping for a quick pick up avoid this...

This location is terrible. I've been to other Lisa's Chicken, and they are pretty darn good. This location, in particular, has the nastiest chicken and sides. I got the strips with potatoes and mac and cheese. The chicken was dry and rubbery as if it had been sitting in a heater all day. the potatoes were dry and tasteless. the mac and cheese was stiff and chalky. again, as if it was sitting in a heater all day. never going here again.
