I don’t usually review places but I just had to make sure to let people know how bad this place has gotten. Despite their service going down Wait time being longer than usual and food being a hit or miss, we still continued to go here because it WAS a good place to go to before. Our last visit was definitely our last. Not only were they taking long with our food (place was not even busy) our waitress was no where around for a good 20 minutes. So when another server went to leave the first two plates, my father asked for napkins. He then gave us about 3 napkins. We are a family of 6 so yes we were a little baffled Then our actual waistress came and my father asked her if we could have more napkins and proceeded to let her know that we had already asked the guy before her but that he just gave us a few and it’s six of us She got super offended and started lashing out Getting mad because why do we come out to eat when there’s a panademic going around. First of all that has nothing to do with us trying to have lunch And second of all we’re paying for a service She got so mad to the point that she was kicking us out Making a huge scene in the restaurant that made other guests there uncomfortable The other waiter had to push her away from us But what really surprised me was how the manager was hearing all of this go on and didn’t come right away to see what the fuss is about. It took her close to 10 minutes to come talk to us. I also didn’t see her take her employee to the side or have her pulled from serving us. My mother had to tell her she didn’t want her serving us anymore. The manager did help serving us afterwards and that was appreciated, but that experience was horrible and we will never be returning. Aside from that the menudo...
Read moreI generally avoid writing negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant today was exceptionally disappointing. I ordered the #55 Grilled Steak & Shrimp, listed at $16.99 on the menu, but was charged $17.67. My wife had the #49 Grilled Asada Beef, priced at $14.99, but was charged $15.59. We both ordered large Aguas Frescas at $3.99 each, and my wife had a refill, which we were fine with being charged for. However, we were billed $13.26 instead of the expected $12.
Upon leaving the restaurant, my wife noticed the discrepancies and called to address the issue. They requested a picture of the receipt, which we provided, but received no resolution. I then had to drive 15 minutes back to the restaurant to request a correction or void of the inaccurate transaction. The staff responded rudely, stating that there was nothing they could do and that the system charges tax on each item, confirming no resolution. which didn't make sense as we were also charged $3.84 in tax.
The manager's response was dismissive, even suggesting that I call the police if I had an issue with the receipt. Despite not enjoying the food, I still tipped $5. It is disheartening that restaurants like this engage in overcharging to make extra money. I initially believed the overcharge was a mistake, but the conversation implied it was intentional, raising concerns about the establishment's integrity and the safety of my card information. BE CAUTIOUS OF THIS PLACE —Scammers like this should be avoided.
Attached are my receipt...
Read moreASK FOR PRICES UPFRONT. All of their menus are incorrect for one. The manager that I didn't even ask for came to our "issue", my issue was 44 dollars was too much for 2 plates a kids meal, and Agua. She pointed out what I ordered, a $12 chilaquiles plate, and then proceeds to charge $15 for a quesadilla plate.
I had to leave behind the food because no ma'am I wasn't fixing to be charged ALMOST $50 for a meal.
Cool they have a drive thru, yet no pricing on the menu.
The service is worse. I didn't need the manager, at all, but the worker at the window got her to come and chastises me for not wanting the food.
Never have had any issues with any restaurants Won't be returning. We took one plate, and I had heartburn the rest of the day, probably because of the quality of ingredients (I hardly...
