Tacos are your average run-of-the-mill type tacos I mean they have good taste nothing special though that makes them stand out from the rest of the taquerias in the area. I ordered three tacos asada tripa and trompo. The trompo is not actual trompo I believe they just call their al pastor tacos, which is a bit deceiving because I was expecting it to be meat from an actual trompo. They weren't good in my opinion they were a bit on the sweet side, the asada were decently seasoned nothing special and lastly the tripa taco I had asked for dorada(crunchy) wasn't as crunchy as I had hoped for. Also they don't add much meat to the tacos, I actually had to tear some of the tortilla as the meat to tortilla ratio was too off for me personally. Taqueria Ruby used to be really good back in the day, not sure what happened to them.

Mid. Not gonna come back. Disappointed but not regretful. —chips and salsa are not complimentary (salsa moderate spicy but edible for spouse, it’s ok in flavor, very watery) half my chips were broken —sodas are all bottled and not free refills —large drink with real melon aqua frescas —slightly pricier than expected —bad parking, few spots —food was fast —rice was mid, beans were regular like home cooking —carne asada mid not fully developed flavor —salsas mild —large portion of quesadillas for spouse —not enough cutlery served —singular Gordita was well stuffed but unevenly, barely any beans —only one stupid lime wedge for my two tacos and my gordita (carne asada) —not full after an order, not hungry but not worth coming back to —all salsas served were mildly spicy

We got here pretty early so it was not busy at all. Their specialties seem to be breakfast burritos. We were a bit surprised that nachos were not on the menu though. We did order to-go and they brought it out to our car where we waited. The chorizo was simply amazing. There was significantly more meat that other places which made it some of the best chorizo I've ever had. The cheese to meat ratio was right where I like it (not too much). The burritos are very hearty. It actually lasted two meals for our road trip. Would definitely recommend.

While I haven't eaten here in a few months, this restaurant is one of the key reasons my fovorite pants no longer fit. Even though I'm painfully white, I've made an effort to try stuff here that I wouldn't normally order anywhere else. I could not tell you if the food actually tastes like what it's supposed to, but to me, it goes down without much complaint. The one thing I haven't tried is the strange red soup, with the strange looking fish head that pokes out of the bowl. It frightens me. With the cold dead eyes it stares at me from across the room while it's being devoured. "Help" I can hear it whisper as we lock our gaze. What is that soup made of? Is it tomato? Is it the blood of the fish? Is it primordial gel from the vortex of interdemensional travel? I don't know, but there's always someone eating it. And it's never the same guy that I can tell. I think it may be three raccoons in a trench coat wearing different masks. I don't trust it, or him, but it smells very good. Over the last few years I have eaten here many times, as they are right across the street from my work office. It pains me that their secret is out because now the place is always packed, which can make it a tough choice with a limited lunch break time. While I could not tell you a single ingredient in the concoctions that they bring me, there's nothing I have had here short of delicious. The most troubling thing about eating here is being brave enough to try to pronounce words off the menu that I have only ever read, out loud to the nice servers; who will absolutely point and laugh at you. As I have said in other reviews that I'm not a big fan of authentic mexican food and i prefer tex-mex, but I can say that everything I have tried here has been pretty good from...

The food is delicious and the service is prompt. Though the pricing still isn't clear, the serving size of food in relation to the price per taco and the $.50 per taco-per item, extra, is very expensive. The drink prices are exceptionally expensive as well. A 32 oz cup of unsweetened tea was $4 dollars! Each small(and by small, I mean the smallest size tortillas made), chicken taco is $1.50(for corn tortilla, more for flour tortillas) and it only comes with cilantro and onion. So if you don't like one of those toppings, you cannot substitute it out for anything else. If you want sour cream it's 50 cents for a little dab of sour cream, per taco. So all of your tacos have now become $2.00. If you want any other item, add another 50 cents per taco. My 9 year old daughter, who is skinny, needs at least 3 to fill her up. An average adult needs at least 4 just to be so-so. I need at least 5(I'm 6'4" 240 lbs, athletic build). That's 10 bucks if I get a cup of water for my drink. If I want flour tortillas, it's $12 bucks. Pretty expensive for lunch. Gotta wait until payday to eat here. Though the food is tasty and the main hostess/waitress is a super sweet chaparrita bonita and the other waitresses...

Place is great Staff is great Selections are good Horchata is nice and balanced. Food is nice and seasoned well

My only problem is the cooks sometimes don't do the orders right. I've ordered gorditas from here and they are always made different each time I receive them. Sometimes with out beans. Sometimes with beans and no lettuce.. or sometimes no lettuce or tomatoes and just beans and meat.

Cook needs to slow down and just get the order and food right. I rather have my food take sometime and come out right then be rushed out and come to me wrong where I have to complain in order to get it fixed.

Been coming here for years and the only thing I have a problem with is how they feel the need to rush the food out at times when you don't have to do that.

The green salsa is amazing and seems like they follow the recipe every time cause it tastes the same every time I order it which is amazing consistency.

Ceviche is kinda over priced. 7 bucks for 1 single tostada.

There tortillas de meiz are a little under seasoned and need a bit more of touch on the recipe.

Overall place is great...
