Very tasty!! We'll be back to try more 😍
You order all your tacos & any specialy drinks that needs to be poured by the kitchen (e.g. Jamaica, Horchata) - they give you a # placard (you use this only for paying). Head to the tall coolers nearby to grab sodas (if you get bottles, head back to the ordering station for the bottle opener attached to the counter there). Sit & wait for them to call your number. When your # is called pickup your food & go to the toppings counter to add chopped cabbage, salsas, sauces, limes etc.
Sit & enjoy your food & drinks ❤
Throw your trash in Basura bin but put your bottles & cans in the other labelled bins. Bring your # placard to the cashier when you're ready to leave, tell them what drinks you ordered & pay via credit card 👍 or cash.
They also have a sink & soap next to the drink coolers to wash your hands 👍
3 of us ordered:
Don't pass through Yuma without pausing to eat here! This appears to be a family run business. They prepare the food on a grill in front of the patrons. The set up is a patio with awnings and picnic style tables. You order then choose a table. It's very clean and tidy. There were a few crumbs on our table. The cashier insisted on wiping off our whole table before we sat down without being asked. There is also a sink to the side if you want to wash your hands. The menu consists of tacos including carne asada, grilled or fried shrimp or fish, chicken and chitterling (No, it wasn’t stinky). Then there’s a well maintained salsa and condiment bar that they keep covered when not in use. They also have a tasty horchata and jamaica (hibiscus) tea as well as canned and bottled drinks. The food was absolutely delicious!! My sons went back to order more. We wanted to stop there again on our way home but sadly for us, they’re closed Sun &...
Read moreOwner is very rude. He came over to our table to yell at my child in spanish for having her water out. She got scared at the way he approached our table. Then the cashier (younger woman) was upset when we DISCREETLY pointed out there was dead flies in the salsa bar. After the way they treated us, I should have spoken louder to let the other familes in front of us know that the food they had just prepared had dead insects, but I didn't want to make a scene.
The entire time we were there he continued to stare at her and she lost her appetite and wanted to leave (not sure if he thought she would pull her water out again). Even while we waited near the exit while my sister paid, he still continued to watch her AND ONLY HER while he cooked, not ONCE did he glance over to the other table full of customers.
The food is decent, but I'd rather not put my child in a situation that makes her feel uncomfortable. We shall never return to this...
