It's nice you get complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa given is a little sweet and not spicy. If you ask for the spicy salsa it won't disappoint on the heat. Quesobirria tacos were packed with meat and you get extra cilantro and onion on the side with the consomme. Messy but delicious. The Al Pastor in the crunchy taco had a nice flavor and they pack those tacos as well. The green enchiladas seemed a little small like a flauta. The vegetables and avocado were all fresh and they aren't shy with the cheese and sour cream. Our waitress was polite and attentive. -To go order al pastor wet burrito, red sauce has a nice kick and al pastor is seasoned perfectly. Asked for an asada and cheese empanada that was delicious. Love the creamy smokey sauce it came with and the green is mild. The breakfast burrito was close to half the size of the wet burrito for the same price and had a lot of beans not so much bacon or egg.

I was finished with business up here, and heading back to the normalcy of Napa, far far away from the drugged up Menagerie of the Pacific Northwest. Getting fuel in Garberville turned into a wonderful lunch at the El Cora Mexican Restaurant, the Pork Enchilada I had was perhaps the best I've ever had, it was Spectacular! While at the gas pump I was approached 6 times by homeless travelers asking for money or weed...not one of them said "I haven't eaten in two days, could you buy me something to eat" I would have done that! But, these people only want the pot or the cash to get it. Man-O-Man that Pork Enchilada was Amazing! El Cora Mexican Restaurant is 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

Tonight’s dinner was barely edible. First I tried the aguachile and all it had in the way of flavor was HEAT. I was really hungry, but it just wouldn’t go down. Then I ordered tacos, thinking it would be better, but when they arrived, the meat was cold and visibly dried out. We ended up getting containers for our meals and gave them to a person on the street who was hungry. Ended up spending about $60 for some pretty unpleasant food. I really want to like El Cora, but I just can’t. The waitstaff was very nice though.

2 ladies thought it was best to be rude when I asked a few questions and ordered, over there loss music behind them at the counter. I was told I couldn't have the free chips they offer, I ordered queso that said it was $3,00 it rang up at 10.00 she got rude when I cancelled it because it's not $10,00 for a side of queso and I showed her the menu says $3.00 she said do you want it or not, I said no. I didn't get what I thought I ordered but I guess she didn't hear me, I pointed out that I asked her for a recommendation but I couldn't tell pork from beef because it was covered in raw onion and fried onions. All you could taste was onion and it was gross. I brought the situation to the older lady working and she said it was best I didn't come back. I won't!!! If you like onion taco that was not what you ordered too bad! don't come back they say... If you can't tell the difference between steak and pork in a taco that's a problem. Thank you for the rude service and nasty food, never had a onion taco before nor have I ever ordered one. Enjoy the salsa but you...

This place is super cute but it’s always hit or miss, me and my friends like to go for the quesabirria and often they’d either not dip the tortilla in the consome before frying the taco or they would but overload the taco with cheese, these are $7 tacos, I’d hope their made correctly. Instead of quesabirria I went for pulled pork tacos, when I got to my friends house to eat the pork was so dry it got stuck in my teeth and in my other taco was just a lump of fat, I’ve had problems with the staff not communicating price changes which got me almost $40 for a couple drinks, or when they started charging for chipotle mayo, and then the other night I went in and ordered a torta and a agua Fresca, it was pineapple and orange or watermelon, so I did the pineapple one, when I got home I tried the drink and it tasted like the fruit had went bad, that’s $6.50 down the drain, this place can have really good food but you have to experiment with what days you go in and that’s a lot of money to waste just to find which days...
