A Place for a Cold Beer Friends suggested we go to Oatman to see the wild burros and see an old mining town that looks like it did in the early 1900's. We saw a few burrows, walked around a little bit, then went into Judy's for a drink. No soda fountain or tap beer here. Cans of soda and bottles of beer. The older male bartender still has no personality - not sure if he even speaks. It looks like this is a regular stop for people out 4-wheeling. Just as we were leaving, two guys, one with an acoustic guitar and the other with a 1-string washtub base started playing music and they were pretty good. By the time we got there it was dark and everything was closed except Judyās.. the little OPEN sign called us in. There were four people in the bar including Jen the bartender who welcomed us and poured our beer. The other three customers in the bar weāre friendly, and welcoming , they shared great stories of the history of Oltman, Jason and I loved Judys Bar and the awesome , interesting people we were lucky enough to meet!!! We had a great time relaxing & visiting with them. She (the bartender/owner) had just bought the bar! Heās lived in Oatman & worked at the bar for YEARS! Cool!!! Good music, good conversations! Check out all the rubber chickens all over the place! Tooo funny!!! We WILL go back again! We live in Vegas soo itās a nice time to stay in Laughlin for a couple days & visit Oatman!
