Update from my previous review... upping to 5 stars. The owner, Max, read my original review, and when I stopped back in, craving some non-store-bought hummus, wanted to give me a better experience. He personally made me a new gyro sandwich, and I'm not sure exactly what changed, but it was phenomenal. I could taste the tzatziki, and the pickled vegetables added just the right amount of kick and added so much flavor. Not only was the sandwich super tasty, but the service and the fact that Max cares so much, made me feel like a truly valued customer. I'd get a gyro again, and still can't wait to try out the beef shawarma. The place is super clean, and the background music is very nice, but it's not a place that I would necessarily want to just sit and eat other than to have the food be fresh.

I saw this little place while I was grabbing a drink for my daughter for volleyball, just a few minutes away. I was super excited to try some new Mediterranean food, and after reading the reviews, I couldn't wait! Unfortunately, I felt disappointed by the experience. After reading all the rave reviews, I expected more. One of the reviews mentioned that it would be a good place for a first date, and I definitely disagree with that. It is a quick service restaurant, and doesn't serve alcohol, so, while it is clean and efficient, it is not a good place to sit down and enjoy the company of somebody new. I ordered the gyro sandwich, and while there was nothing wrong with it, I was expecting it to be on a pita, not in wrap form, and it just didn't have much flavor. The tzatziki sauce was not noticeable, and the whole thing just lacked any depth of flavor. I was skeptical about the house made fries, because I find they are typically undercooked, but those were one of the best features of the sandwich. I also ordered some hummus, and it was pretty good, but for $7, it didn't seem quite worth it, and I have had better. I want to go back and try the steak shawarma and I would definitely get it as a plate versus the 'sandwich.' I really wanted to be wowed by the experience, and I just wasn't. I feel that the five star reviews were misleading. Definitely not terrible food, but nothing to write home about,...

Our first attempt at Greek fast food turned out ok. Driving up, we had reservations because of its location next to a gas station, but the food was better than expected. They have a drive thru, but we elected to walk in and sit down to eat. The interior was reasonably modern, and Mezza had a solid array of menu options. The wife and I both ordered their Gyro entree. The shaved lamb was tasty and not too greasy. The entree came with rice, side salad, pita bread, tzatziki, hummus, and french fries. All were good except the fries, which left a little to be desired. Each table had hot sauce and ketchup, and the meal was served on an actual plate with real silverware. The portion sizes left us both feeling full. One thing that was lacking are beverages. Canned 12 oz sodas run $1.79, and there are no fountain drinks. I splurged on the $3.79 Greek iced tea, having never tried it, but it ended up tasting like a 99-cent canned Arizona with fewer fluid ounces to quench my thirst. Other than being price gouged on our drinks, everything else was affordably priced. We will definitely be back but will probably hit the drive-thru and...

With the guitar strumming in the background you hear a man's dream come to fruition. The owner had a dream and his dream had to do with this very spot. You work very hard and cashed in on his idea that he now presents before you. This is a great little place for a lunch time at work, a first date and or just a change from the norm in the area. I personally am a big fan of the gyro sandwich. If you'd like to try it my way ask for extra meat and you definitely won't be disappointed. The food is delivered with love and consistent in it's serving/ portion/quality. The restaurant speaks to you in a modern vibe simplistic yet gets the job done. The flowers out front are nice touch and welcome you to a fresh meal. I love small business owners especially those who deliver. This small business well on its way to being a household name in the area!! If you are a dancer I encourage you to contain yourself as the rhythm is rich. It is one of my personal favorites in the state...
