Be warned! Ordered the recommended taco and fry bread from the not bad reviews. It was the worst food after waited more than 40 minutes. We waited with high expectation and thought the food probably fresh and made from the scratch individually. But it came out the fry bread was cold with couple honey packets on the top. The taco was chips top with a layer of chili, salsa and sour cream. The taste was average. Had watched the park video more than 3 times. Didn’t know why it took so long to make this kind of food.

Thank heavens for this gas station!!! We were driving along and realized we needed gas ASAP!! We found this tiny little place that had about four pumps. It was $3.35 when we stopped! Easy enough to get into and out of and it’s nearby some places you could check out, if you’re on a tourist venture. Having said that, it wouldn’t accept either of our cards or the lady beside up!

Great Place to stop off at, We Realized we didn’t have enough gas to get to Gallup. And because we were on a road trip found this handy place to stop off at and fuel up. Really nice gift shop and visitors center with fun books and souvenirs that are very entertaining for the long car ride.

Food and coffee was awful! The young lady that took my order was great though. We waited about 20 minutes for food - 2 portions of the navajo tacos, there was one order infront of us. The food was not tasty or have any flavour and for the price definitely not worth it. Coffee was from a machine not fresh which I wasn't made aware of when I asked if they served coffee. Great location for tour busses as four pulled up after us and they got very busy very quickly, it was overwhelming for me, never mind the three lady's...

Extremely disappointed in the gift shop Northern end gift shop. The gift shop at the South Entrance was not only cheaper, but it had much more to choose from. The south end also had a 30% off sale that the north end did not recognize.

Christmas ornaments are around $15, post cards are $1 a pop. The south end had sandstone book ends but the north end did not.

None of the water fountains worked which we found disappointing.

Overall, honestly, if you’re driving the length of the park go to the sound...
