Saltos — Restaurant in Four Corners States

enormously average. It’s a stretch of my imagination to contemplate that saltos is operated by the same proprietor as aseq. aseq is undoubtedly the best of taos, NOT medley. medley is overrated, over sugared, over salted and alays overcooked, even scorched, always disappointing. meanwhile, aseq is a truly magical experience, from staff to kitchen to how the body blissfully accepts the food ingested there. saltos can’t hold a candle to that. both entrees were excessively sugary. a good piece of fish or meat needs no sugar, it simply needs to be prepared mindfully and skillfully. if i may be completely honest, and with no intention to be unkind, i will say that popeyes is far superior to what we ordered. also, to pay over $100 for 2 entrees and one drink, and have the food be so unexceptional, is truly disappointing. to pay that at aseq correspnds to the superior quality of the food, staff, and overall experience., while saltos was not by any means able to compare to that, yet the bill was the same. the best part of the saltos experience was our waiter, jesus. the space is great, spacious, outdoor seating is wonderful. the bar tender is pleasant and accessible. the only issue was with what arrived on the table We will stick with asaq from now on. we won’t be...

So excited to have the place back, and yet better than ever. Saltos, the old Sabroso, checks every box. Unique craft cocktails, a very creative & diverse menu, friendly service, and an unparalleled indoor/outdoor environment. We have been several times already, and always looking forward to our next return. The cocktails and menu will change seasonally, only making the dining experience that more enjoyable. Our group of four enjoyed our first meal at Saltos last night. The grilled wedge with chef made bacon bits and roasted tomatoes was a favorite starter. Each of our dishes - tuna, hen and bison - had appealing presentations, fresh ingredients and interesting seasonings.
