K's Cafe — Restaurant in Frankenmuth Township

Absolutely Frustrated – Completely Unacceptable

I’m honestly beyond FRUSTRATED. I had been looking forward to visiting this café for weeks after hearing so many great things. I live really far away and made a special trip just to try their omelettes and baked goods. I even got lost on the way because they’re not listed properly on Apple Maps—but I didn’t mind, I was excited.

What I do mind is showing up during your LISTED BUSINESS HOURS—when you said you'd be open—only to find the place completely CLOSED. No sign, no notice, no apology. Just locked doors. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!

People plan their day, spend time and money, and drive long distances based on the information you provide. If you're not going to be open when you say you are, update your hours or let people know! It’s really NOT THAT HARD!

Skip it!!! The unfriendly welcome we received was from the owner. I thought it was an employee who needed additional training, but my daughter confirmed Kennedy's picture on the website. We asked if we could order breakfast because the hours weren't stated on her menu board. Her sharp answer was, "Yeah, you can order it. But, we are busy here and it is going to take 40 minutes." There were 6 people total in the cafe, and 2 were done eating. We decided with the owner's snippy attitude, she obviously didn't want our family's business. Absolutely lovely little cafe! It's just a couple of minutes north of "everything" in Frankenmuth, so it's a great option to take a break from the crowded areas. They have a menu that changes weekly (the current is easily found online) and they have fantastic sandwiches, wraps, salads, smoothies, cafe items and more.
