I recently visited Yetter's Diner at 89 US-206 in Augusta, NJ, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. This charming diner truly embodies the classic American diner experience with its welcoming atmosphere, retro decor, and extensive menu.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The service at Yetter's is top-notch; the staff is efficient and quick, ensuring that orders are taken and delivered promptly, even during busy hours. Our waitress was particularly warm and helpful, going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and offering great menu recommendations.
The menu at Yetter's Diner is impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste. I opted for the classic breakfast combo, which included perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, fluffy pancakes, and golden hash browns. Every bite was delicious and comforting, exactly what you'd expect from a great diner.
In addition to the breakfast options, Yetter's also offers a fantastic selection of lunch and dinner items. I couldn't resist trying their homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, which was flavorful and hearty. The portions are generous, ensuring that you leave fully satisfied.
One of the standout features of Yetter's Diner is the genuine care and attention to detail that the staff puts into every aspect of the dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families, friends, or solo diners looking for a great meal.
Overall, Yetter's Diner is a gem in Augusta, NJ. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a delicious dinner, this diner has something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by Yetter's Diner – you won't be...
Read moreThe only reason Yetters got two stars was their french fries were spot on and the Cole slaw wasn't bad. Sad part was the corned beef Reuben. All sauerkraut barely any corned beef. They made it look bigger than it was by piling a huge amount of kraut in the middle of each piece of rye bread then a piece or two of meat and "A" piece of swiss. Couldn't tell the difference between the kraut and the cheese. And one slice of rye was almost burnt to a crisp. How does that happen? Wish I had thought to take a picture of my meal. Hind sight is 20/20 lol. Service? Non existent. Staff was too busy at the end of the counter between sections on their phones... and it wasn't just our young server but an older woman too. In plain site!! Wasn't busy so there was no reason why our server didn't check on us. She had actually disappeared for a while after we got the menus. Not the first time visiting this establishment but it had been a while thought maybe we hit them on an off day... apparently not. Nothing has changed since the last time, not the food nor the service sorry to say. This place just doesn't live up to the Diner...
Read moreMy wife and I ate here twice, the first time with some friends, and the second time with my wife only. The first time the food was cooked poorly, did not come out on time and together, and the waitress was probably 80, and could hardly walk, we didn't make an issue of it, she was very nice. The second time, there were very few people there, the waitress didn't speak much English, couldn't be bothered to bring out the butter or syrup we asked for until about ten minutes had passed, she was chatting with the other chick there. The food got cold before we got our condiments, and it was not cooked very well. When we checked out to pay, there was a man there, I assume the owner, since he was standing around and doing most of nothing, like his staff. He asked how everything was, and I let him know that it was not very good, and the service was awful. I assume he is Greek, and like most Greeks, he really didn't care to hear what his customers have to say, as long as they pay. That is the last time I will eat there. Mistakes happen, but there is no excuse...
