Everything OK — Restaurant in Frankfort

Was looking to get some late night carry out. After looking at a few different apps and trying to understand what was still open, I was quite excited to see that this place was open late, or at least what I thought to be the truth...I called this place to try and place a carryout after the app said they were open until midnight. After about 6 rings, someone picked up the phone and I said I would like to place a carryout order to which I was met with the following words "it is 11:00 at night. We closed at 9:00...so no" I was actually quite taken aback and I said, "oh I'm sorry I thought you were open until midnight as I saw on the app" she said "No! it does not say that"... Honestly if I could sum up terrible customer service this would be it... If you're going to be to put out to just have a decent conversation don't even answer the phone... A simple," I'm sorry, we're closed right now, but we we'd be happy to serve you when we're open tomorrow at xyz time" would have conveyed the same message with an opportunity to convert potential business to a sale.. Instead, it made me realize I'll never go to this place, because if this is the way that they treat people over the phone, you can almost guarantee they do not value customers in the first place. Been coming here for years, hadn’t been much recently. Hate to leave a poor review for a small business but we were just disappointed. Decided to stop for dinner a little after 7pm on a Friday night. Sign said they stop the Mongolian grill at 8:30. When we walked in the grill was completely shut down. Not sure if this is the new normal, or if it was just for the night. Thought about going somewhere else, but decided to go ahead and just eat off the buffet. For being a Friday night there was not a lot of freshly stocked trays. Quite a few items were out, or almost out. What we did have to choose from seemed bland.

Spent $28 (plus tip) for two adult buffets with a drink. Without the grill I don’t feel like it was worth the price. The grill is what makes this place special, without it it’s not really...

Bathroom kind of grimy. Atmosphere is just okay. Was there on Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. not much of a crowd so the food tasted and looked like it was sitting out for too long. Same standard food as in all Chinese buffets but this stuff just wasn't good. I think the food was so bad I probably would not go back here again. I've been to many many Chinese buffets and this food was just about the worst. In place of the Hibachi Grill area they were offering California rolls with made with rice that was a nice touch although I didn't eat any. Rather than stop by and clear my table periodically they waited until I was all done eating which is a minor thing but for only having about 10 customers in the whole place I would have thought they would be more prompt with keeping your...
