Joe's Pizza & Pasta Palace — Restaurant in Franklin

Normally, food is good, but now for two orders in a row, after specifically ordering a deluxe pizza and Stromboli with NO MUSHROOMS...we have indeed gotten mushrooms. My husband accepted it the first time. This time he called back to let them know about the issue. They offered to remake it, but after initially accepting the remake...and considering it would be 20 minutes plus, it's dark and rainy...he called back immediately to say don't worry about it. He was placed on hold for a few minutes and then was chastised by whoever was answering the phone because as she continued to repeat "but its already in the oven." All she needed to say was, "Okay, thank you for letting us know. Sorry again for our mistake." First...not sure what haphazard meal was in the oven after less than three minutes. Second...not our issue that mushrooms were put in our order TWICE in a row. I'm sorry no one reads an order correctly or someone didn't note it correctly. I don't care; I am more heated by the attitude thrown at my husband. I can absolutely promise you I was willing to overlook the mushrooms, but I will not overlook the way in which we were spoken to, especially considering Joe's is usually our go to...

This was my first time trying this restaurant. I called my order in over the phone, the young lady was very nice and polite. When I arrived to the restaurant, it was a full house. I walked in and had to wait about 5-7 mins (which was okay because they were busy) but there is no particular area for pick up orders vs the customers that were dining in. A older gentleman walked in behind me and just walked right up and started to place his order, thought was extremely rude. I finally got my order and got home excited to try it. I ordered a chicken bacon wrap and a meat lovers stromboli. The wrap was warm, I particularly don’t care for warm lettuce on a sandwich but the wrap had a good taste. The stromboli was very greasy and didn’t come with marinara sauce (thats my fault because I should’ve asked). I won’t say that it will be my last time but it wont be my first pick. Food was fine, very good, but it was the worst service I've had in a restaurant forever. I was with a party of 10. We ordered & received our drinks. Then we got some appetizers & ordered 3 large pizzas & I told the waiter to put it all on one check. We got our 3 pizzas ( one of them was not fixed how we ordered it - mushrooms on half) We are all getting low on our drinks, but no one comes to check on us. They bring a 4th large pizza out and say we ordered it. My wife says maybe the waiter misunderstood, so we kept it. My brother-in-law goes to the counter to tell our waiter we all need re-fills. After 5 more minutes go by, I had to go ask for drinks. Finally we all got refills before we choked. Then they bring out another large pizza!!!! I did not keep that one ! Food was good, we had the whole 4th pizza to carry home though. Service...
