The diner has an issue with closing early—or for days at a time—and not warning customers in advance. They rarely update their Facebook page about being closed, and when they do, it's never a day or two ahead of time. It's usually around the time they would normally be open.
When they post a sign on the door, it's the on the day they decide to close, never ahead of time. We've wasted a lot of gas this year to drive out there only to learn that they're closed, and their social media pages don't say anything about it.
Phone calls have gone unanswered even when they're open, so that isn't a reliable option. They need to hire someone who can manage their social media pages and post closing times in advance.

The thing that has made me go to other restaurants is the fact that when you call to ask for the lunch menu (maybe you could post the daily menu on facebook or your website, if you have one), IF THEY ANSWER,and that's a big if, they tell you to hold and lay the phone down, never to pick it back up.
