My husband and I went in for dinner one day while we were traveling out of town. The menu had so much that I had never seen at a Dairy Queen. It was hard to decide on what to order. My husband ordered the steak fingers and I got a bacon cheese burger we shared the fries that came with the steak fingers basket and ordered an extra gravy because we love to dip our french fries in the gravy. We cut the burger in half and shared both items. He got a drink with his meal and I got water because usually that is all I drink. So that was perfect for us. Plus my husband eats more than me and I usually wind up giving him the last bit of my food. The steak fingers were very crispy but I personally would have liked a little more flavor on the meat or the breading. The fries while they looked beautiful were stale and hard to chew. I took them back and the cashier said she would get me a fresh batch. When she did they were awesome. The burger has a bun that is just a little too big for the patty but the burger as a whole tasted great, I just tore off the extra bread. The toast was perfectly cooked to dip in my gravy. After we finished our food I asked my husband if he would split a banana split with me. Of course he did. I ask the lady if I could get it differently than shown in the picture. She said sure. I told her I wanted hot fudge, carmel, strawberry, chocolate shell whipped cream and pecans. I wanted a cherry but she said they don't do that. But I got everything else I wanted. It was delicious! Perfect end to a...
Read moreI no longer buy anything from dairy Queen or at least this one. I do pick up food for my mother that is the only reason I stopped. I stopped ordering there because before they blocked the drive-up window from being able to see into the kitchen area I watched a fairly large kid working on the grill. He would sweat profusely and wearing the ball cap that dairy Queen required them to wear to keep hair out of the food, he would take his hat off while at the grill wipe the sweat from his head, wipe the sweat on his apron, replace the hat and repeat. Later on they put opaque covering over the drive-thru windows so you cannot see the food preparation area. Also they got my order wrong one time and I did not notice until I got home. I was not going to go back the store while everything else got cold to complain. The next time I went back and told them that I got shorted a sandwich they said tough luck. I should have came back immediately. I tried to get the owner's name or number or even corporates number. I was told that each store was owner-operated and he would do nothing. Bye-bye dairy...
Read moreNastiest dairy queen I've ever been to. Lazy employees. And disgusting food. We ordered simple meals which consisted of 4 foot long Chilli cheese dogs and 2 tatir tots with cheese. It took 23 minutes after ordering to get our food. The buns had mold on them which the employees tried to hide with the e - 5 day old Chilli. And the hot dogs were soured The cheese tots were cold and served with un melted cheese. Every bottle of ketchup was empty except for 1 that was sticky and filthy. And my bill was just under $37.00 Passes me off I couldn't give 0 or minus zero stars. This place needs to be paid a visit by the board of health or food inspectors immediately . And fined and shut down. Needless to say both my dad and me got sick from the food but luckily it was so bad we had both only taken a couple of bites before we both said nope something wrong then noticed every thing . I've been eating at dairy queen restaurants for over 50 years and this was the worst. There's only one other that was this bad and that one is in Crandall tx. And they have a...
