It was rather a disconcerting experience. I ordered a drink and paid for it. The service was ok, maybe a family member. Food looked good, I wanted to eat, but kitchen had closed. My $7 drink was so weak that I left it. I tipped. Bartender seemed very inexperienced. In fairness, the bar was new. I never returned. The interior did look nice. I finally went back into this restaurant and the burgers are good. Robin does a good job. The server/bt Leona also is very pleasant. However, I ordered a modification dropping an item off the french fries topped with stuff. I ended up paying $4 more. I objected. But the server could not correct the ticket and had evidently misunderstood my order or could not ring it in right. I always tip well here. After this experience of paying $4 extra, and getting $35 worth of food that was average, I decided to save money and just not return. I understood her dilemma but it became my cost because she could or would not correct the issue. The burgers here are the only thing. The other items that I tried were ill conceived. The place is clean and the staff is...
Read moreHeading on East 400, I did a google search for places to eat in Fredonia. I’ve never been in the town before, so naturally, I rely on google reviews. Parrot Eyes had a a great review. We walked in and saw the usual town folk. Our server, Leona, was wonderful. She was attentive, granted we were the only ones in there for a while, she checked on us multiple times. The food was phenomenal. Hands down some of the best bone in garlic Parmesan wings I’ve ever had, paired with the homemade ranch chefs kiss. I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap, which was on the $8 lunch menu and it was probably the biggest wrap I’ve ever seen. The bacon crumbles with the fried chicken and ranch was so good. I had sweet potatoes fries which were the perfect crispness, dipped in that homemade ranch of course! My husband had the parrot eyes burger and he devoured the whole 1/2 burger within minutes. If we ever make it down this way again, we will make sure to...
Read moreThey bartender comes in drunk messes up all the drinks, they have condiments sitting in the fridge for over a month they expect you o serve to ppl. The owner just says take the date off the top before you give it to them. If customers leave clean silver wear on the table opened they don’t wash it they just resend it out to the next customers. They do t cut fresh lemon, lime, or oranges daily and expect you to send them out gross. You can order 1 single beer and wait over 15 mins for that beer bc the bartender is barely 22 and has no work ethic at all. She sits around and eats, plays on her phone, and had conversations with anyone who will pay her any attention. This place will close down before they even get off the ground. The owner is also a huge pot head that deals of pot every time she speaks to you. The place is a joke and I do not...
