Bella Italia Freehold — Restaurant in Freehold Township

**I see that the picture of the thin slices of eggplant has been deleted. The picture was there- it is not pending! 09/2023 The comment I posted previously, was four months ago almost five and I gave it four stars, today, I , unfortunately, have to give it one star. The eggplant sandwich is all egg & bread crumbs, several layers. I was encouraged to have it toasted or to toast when getting home but I prefer, not to and it was terrible. Not because it wasn't toasted, but because the eggplant is nonexistent.

Early this morning, 08:30, the deli counter was empty although the business opens at 07:00. Didn't see what would normally be filled with different salads, and other products... Too many changes with new management. See picture of sandwich and judge for yourselves. ( My fingers are between " eggplant" to show how thin this is - it's awful).

We discovered this place last Friday. We went because we heard good things about the place. After finally finding our way in to the shopping center where it located. We were greeted by a waiter that gave us a booth. The place is kinda small but nice. The place looked like a typical Italian restaurant you would find in Italy (we were there in Italy last summer). The waiter was really nice running around making sure everyone taken care of.

I had the combination plate, it had Lasagna, Mostaccioli & Ravioli with meatball. My wife had the Lasagna with meatball. It was really good. To me the best in the area. We could not be happier with our experience! From start to finish, Bella's went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The pricing was very reasonable and they worked with us even though our budget was limited. They offered a wide variety of menu options and were incredibly flexible in allowing us to swap out or adjust items to fit our needs. Communication was constant and seamless—we always knew what to expect and felt fully supported throughout the planning process.
