Metro Food Deli — Restaurant in Freehold Township

What an amazing experience. I was on the way to Generation Farm to feed the goats with my 2 year old daughter. We realized we forgot quarters! I decided to drive around and find a store we could “try” to get quarters. All I had was a credit card. I own a business and know how tough it is when ever a customer uses a card for a small transaction let alone for nothing. From the second I walked into the store, before I even asked… they were super nice. They ended up charging me and giving me the quarters. Knowing they lost money on the sale I decided to get a Red Bull! The man behind the counter had to be the owner because he was beyond friendly. Gave me some info on the farm that we never knew! Even told me a story when he’s kids where my daughters age how he used to take them there as well! I couldn’t even walk out before I had to leave a review. Places like this just don’t exist anymore. I’ll make it a point to come here again when I go to the farm. Next time I’ll bring quarters!...

Ordered a piece sausage, bacon and cheese with fried onions . The guy behind the counter talked me into the egg, and I told him I didn't want an omelette sandwich . He said, okay, the other guy started to make it and immediately started chopping everything up. I told the guy again, I did not want that, and I'm a sandwich. I wanted me with the layer on it. Oh Hey, he said, okay again, the guy continues to make it. Then guess what? I got that's exactly what I didn't want it. I even told the guy I wasn't going to eat it. He didn't want to make it right.He just said sorry it handed me the nasty sandwich. I made it to the parking lot, tried to eat, it couldn't had to go back in and get something else to eat, which I shouldn't have done and the guy laughed in my face. Best Deli in Freehold, The owners are so personable and remember all their customers whether you haven't been back in years or just coming in for the first time.
